- It’s been almost 2,000 years since the apostle John was instructed by Jesus to write letters to the seven churches mentioned in the book of Revelation. These timeless letters reveal a message of God’s love through the death and resurrection of His Son Jesus, identify and provide correction for problems in the church, and offer hope and encouragement for the future.

Muslims themselves are not treated well by their rulers, governments or whoever is in charge in many places! There is also sectarianism going on so within this mess and the dark ages Muslim world is going through nobody is spared and let live a happy life due to so many turmoils within the Islamic societies and economies. May God help us all!
It is absolutely the otherwise. Check what Evangelists , Orthodox Christians did to Muslims in Iraq , Afghanistan, Bosnia, Bulgaria, Caucasia and than comment. What happened to Muslims in Myanmar ? they mass murderded and annihilated totally by Budists, google the Chinese persecution of Uighurs and Chinese Muslims, check Hindu atrocities against Indian Muslims, read the cruelties of Israel against Palestinian Muslims , if you are true Christian than you would admit these cruelties against Muslims and than repent for the slander you uttered.
I woke up this morning praying for the persecuted church. I also ask others to pray also.
This is a very important statement: the modern church in the West is powerless. As someone said activity instead of life.
Please Christian family, we are ONE body, let us pick up the baton and Stand up for JESUS!
These letters were written for us, for this Generation. All our cities are exactly as described in the book of Revelation. Leave a gentle, peaceful positive impact whereever you go, in the name of Christ Jesus...

It is so profound and eye opening that what happened 2000 years ago before I was born is still relevant today in our churces and calls us to total repentance and to develop the character of the early christians. May God strengthen us and open our spiritual eyes to His grace.

I found this series today, as I was beginning to read the nook of Revelations. I am reading John MacArthur's book "Because The Time Is Near" and was drawn to do an internet search about the ancient city of Smyrna. I came across this video and was brought to tears by the end of it. I started out wanting to see what the city itself once looked like in all of its beauty and splendor-- but I am left being reminded that the true beauty and splendor was in the faithful believers who lived there. Their faithfulness in the face of such adversity and terrible things should strengthen all of us-- who face so little by comparison. And still, the Lord cares for all we endure for His name's sake, and He will strengthen us just as He did the Christians in Smyrna and all who have gone before us. Thank you, Lord! And thank you to the creators of this wonderful documentary! I can't wait to watch the other episodes!
