Me after 10days use of moto edge 40 Phone heated easily while talking for more time and playing just 3 songs from SoundCloud. And if I switch on the hotspot then also heavy heating if I use another phone as wifi through this hotspot. And camera is also average.
I received the phone. The hype is real guys. Loved it. lack of availability was the reason for such a 12 days delay. I'm sure it is goin to be sold out in next sale as well
MTK based processors don't get Netflix HDR support. I am suing Moto Edge 20 Fusion and there is still no support after upgrade to Android 12. t was there prior to update. So it depends on both Motorola and Netflix to bring support to devices.

Yeah. Plus no need of 144 hz because it consumes a lot of battery. 120 hz is more than enough. And the battery is only 4400 mah. It could have been 5000 mah with 90W charger. No need of curved screen. Should instead have given gorilla Glass with normal screen. Plus no need of IP68 instead should have given mtk dimensity 9000. Also no need of it to be so slim. It becomes slippery. Don't understand why moto doesn't understand these simple points. When will they learn?

Moto Edge 40 dosen't properly run the gpu test- Costline2 vulkan, says its not supported. Once I got a score of 725624, most of the times its fluctuating between 4lakh to 6.5lakh
It is quite possible that since this processor is new moto has to optimise it properly. That might also be a reason for battery backup. Can't confirm but quite a possibility

Since I am a regular user of all these apps in my day-to-day life, their flow-less working is a must for me. Could you please try to setup and use these apps on your review unit and tell if I can go ahead with buying a Moto or should I consider some other phones?
