No offence intended Aaron but how can one know that truth is being spoken should a person suffer from mental illness?I couldn't base an assumption as being provable fact(s)since there's no credible proof to back it up.A person who is not a specialist in the field of psychology can not place a label upon another calling them mentally ill.
Trump is mentally ill. And we should not have to put up with him. It needs to be mandatory for anyone who wants to run for President to take a psychological evaluation. He would have never passed.

She speaks truth! Wealthy people, especially white men in power, often disconnect emotionally. Trump fits this profile. And based on what we know about his mother, she was around, but not present in his life. As a result, he was never nurtured as a child. Mothers are our spiritual teachers, and they teach us compassion, love, and respect for others. His disrespect for women, and those not like him, shows that he lacks something mentally and emotionally. He's a grown man with a lot of money and power, yet he feels empty. This has set up a psychological disorder in him that he'll never admit. To acknowledge it would be a sign of weakness, and he'll never do that. He is who he is. And unfortunately he's #45.

I agree with Jennifer in that there's clearly a disconnect when it comes to Trump. His lack of compassion for others and lack of humanity is startling. But what can we say for the people who support him and think he's a "no nonsense politician". During his campaign bid I heard repeatedly "oh, he's just being honest."
I felt her empathy when she said " I feel sorry for him!!" She was genuine about that!

All good and well said, but it still isno excuse for silly and at times sinister behavior. I feel no pity for him because his actions have HUGE ramifications on others. And I have no pity for those who voted for him, or those who wanted Clinton in office. American politics and voting is more about tot for tat and getting even than actually fixing issues and bettering the nation. As folks argue about the trivial issues the nation continues to fall apart and ALL citizens suffer. There's no excuse for any of this in 2018 when the past is so well documented, and mistakes don't need to be repeated. Because of people's hate, resentment, greed, spite, jealousy, and bigotry we now have to deal with a fool in office with more fools that surround him. We can fix this, and it can be reversed, but people need to VOTE.

I think she's darn close in her diagnosis. Observant through the lense of her own experience. But there are nuances missing in her observation. Sociopaths are damaged after birth. Psychopaths are born malfunctioning.
In trumps case he is a third choice in the antisocial affect disorder family, he's a malignant narcissist. That is a genetic fault much like psychopathy. Malignant narcissism looks a lot like psychopathy, but it leans towards delusional grandiosity and self service far more in it's symptomatic expression.
