- Kim Waters and Kayla Waters perform live in The Sound Room at WEEU, 830 AM in Reading, PA. Set includes “Kiss Away” at 0:00, “Apogee” at 5:00, “Heart Seeker” at 10:01 and “Zephyr” at 14:51.
Kim on saxophone and his daughter Kayla on piano and vocals will both perform during Berks Jazz Fest 2019.

Awesome music! She is quite a talent and follows in dad's footsteps. They are touring together this fall and coming to Buffalo NY at Buff State Rockwell Hall on Fri 11/22/2019! Looking forward to seeing them both perform.
In 2023 I am just now discovering Kayla - she is absolutely one of the best pianists of all time! I’ve heard her music on Sirius’ Watercolors but did not know the music was coming from someone young, gifted, producing such beautiful melodic smooth jazz! I am a number one fan and will look up her concert tours - goodness her music is so beautiful!
Let's not get carried away here. She's talented yes, but don't go overboard.

How did her mom meet her dad? Interesting ethnicity blend........ they say art and music can bring people together or at least bond them on one platform or dimension.....the other thing jumping off the page or sound stage is that blood bonds don't automatically guarantee transfer of the musical talent vertically in the same blood lines. Here, it definitely seemed to however. But, those musician celebrity kids certainly try to walk in their parents or older generation's footsteps as it were and have been doing so for years. See Dino Martin, Billy Hinsche, and Lucy/Ricky Ricardo's kids as exhibit A/B/C......it doesn't always work.
