- In this video I challenge myself to see how many crappie I can catch in one hour. Not the best hour of fishing I've ever had, but certainly not the worst either! Hope you enjoy and thanks for watching!

Great video! Crappie fishing has become my passion the last couple of years.there is nothing like feeling the THUMP of a nice crappie. Love those big black crappie. The black nose crappie on old hickory really seem to put up a better fight than the white ones tho.

Richard Gene the fishing machine has a method he uses when fishing plastics on jig heads ,he never has to adjust the bait after catching crappie , uses the same bait about all day. Might want to check it out.

Nice job man! 13 fish is pretty darn good in an hour. Looked like you stayed on that same school the whole hour? Were they on a brush top or just hanging on that ledge?

Good work. This probably looked more like one of your BASS tourneys! I live pretty close to you and am familiar with most of the lakes. I noticed that you seem to be concentrating on one lake at a time. Are you just enjoying learning and breaking down a particular lake....or are you following the better fishing?
There’s a method to my madness but it would take me a long time to explain lol. Basically I like certain lakes at certain water levels and times of year. And when I get bored with one, or start seeing a ton of boats on the good spots I switch to a different lake. I try to stay one step ahead of the fish, and other fishermen. Thanks for watching!

If I’m keeping fish I never throw the first keeper back. If it’s a legal fish it’s in the live well Great info. Do you know of any tackle store’s selling the detector rods? I’m not much on ordering on line. Thank you
