Ngl gwuncan is the thing that actually changed my mood.
You know the sad part about this ship? It had potential. It could’ve worked platonically or romantically. And it almost worked out well platonically but the writers basically threw all of that away. Who knows maybe if it weren’t for the awful writing they could’ve probably worked.
It also DESTROYED not only both of their characters, but also Courtney and Trents (which i will never forgive the writers for)

He didn't love Gwen as much tbf. He always was attracted to Courtney more, but he needed a way to escape the relationship, so he used Gwen. The he fell for her for a little while, then Courtney started blanking him, and Gwen also started blanking him, so he started craving Courtney's attention again.

Nothing made sense in TDAS. In WT ending & ROTI it's seen that gwuncan doesn't care about the past, and then there is Duncan's obsession with Court, and Gwen crawling for forgiveness wtf.
Besides, characters were out of their minds, Duncan wasn't him, it's like he was a new person in his body and Gwen also changed a lot.
I feel like gwuncan breakup was very forced.
