Saw them on the side stage at furnace fest and they ripped so hard. Dying Wish, knocked loose, turnstile, the scene is in good hands.

I've seen KNocked Loose and turnstile and their acoustics are the worst I've ever heard, its remiscient of old crappy high school hardcore bands that put out well mixed albums, but blow hard live.
Listen to Dhafer Youssef, dude is 500000000x better than all these garbage bands you kids think are tits, when its just well compressed studio music.

Saw the The Devil Wears Prada is playing in a few weeks here in Seattle. I was on the fence about going cause I don't really listen to them anymore but some friends are going. Took a look at the lineup and Dying Wish is the first band that night. Y'all were the tipping point. know that at least one person in the audience will be there to see you more than any other band when you play in Seattle upcoming

saw them like 5 hours ago in Anaheim, CA. Never heard Dying Wish before other than 1 song my friend sent me after we booked tickets a couple months ago. Honestly, they were the highlight of the night for me. I really enjoyed their set.

This was sick. Catchy 2005 riffs with big breakdowns and a modern twist. Great mix, love the energy from the band.
This is why I've always wanted to visit Philly & attend a live event there. Their fans set the bar for an epic time in both music & sports that's unmatched anywhere else in the country.

I saw these guys in Houston, packed house. I would say that they were largely unknown to the crowd, but that really didn't matter to them. They lit that show on fire, honestly stole the show with their energy and performance. By the end of their set the crowd was throwing what I would describe as a small riot! Made a new fan out of me and most likely a large chunk of that crowd too

For folks who were wondering, when the music stops 20 minutes in it was because a fight had broken out.
At least three men had jumped a trans member of the audience, and friends of the person assaulted stepped in to pull the attackers off. One of the attackers plays drums in local Philly band Cycle of Abuse - he split a woman's lip open that night.
Dying Wish called it out when they saw it and stopped playing so the promoters could do the right thing and throw out the attackers. Joe Hardcore saw to it the folks who were attacked were safe afterwards and other folks in attendance made a point to ensure the venue would be safe from queerbashers and men who try to beat on girls at shows.
The scene does not tolerate bigotry nor misogyny of any kind. Those men were clowns but every band that night played their asses off for a good crowd otherwise!

Is funny because Emma as far as I know from interviews and stuff grew up on a shit ton of hardcore. Like that old school skate hardcore punk with shouted vocals and stuff. I’d guess the rest of the band leans more into metal.
Not to mention Emma leaked an audio of a side project and it sounds a lot like the 90s hardcore with a touch of her metalcore vocals. Pretty cool mix of backgrounds in this band tbh.
