The fact that I actually discovered this song the same day when my friends were drawing stars on their arms, and mine had healed cuts, my friend walked up to me to draw stars. She didn't even say anything, she just gently held my arm and kept drawing stars

Your story reminds me of when my ex was putting on a bandaid on my arm,it was a wound that i got from work, she saw my scars irl for the first time, she didn't say anything ,once she's done putting on the bandaid she said this.. "it looks worse than it seems, don't you ever hurt yourself again because i will be hurt too, I'm here with you now so you don't have to worry anymore".. i cried a bit that night,she hugged me ..
But after about a year, she broke me to pieces.. i wasn't even as broken as when we found each other like how she broke me that night saying she was falling out of love and whatnot.. i found out she's already talking to someone new.. and it was all just a mask that she could no longer sustain, because her guilt was eating her away since i loved and cared for her wholeheartedly,not once i did something to hurt her unless when i confronted her about how she hurts me by her actions and words..
I thought i had found the one when she said that after putting that bandaid on me.. but i was so wrong..
In the end i had to admit that i was dumb for letting go of a loyal guy who has been waiting for 7years for a woman whom i just met.. but i guess it works out as it should be ,since after the breakup, i smh came across that guy again and we're continuing from where we left off .. the right one was right in front of me all along

I don't know whenever I listen to this song I'm always reminded of a very good friend who's not with me anymore. A very special friend who was always there for me when I was sad or happy no matter what I went through my friend was always there but the sad part is he wasn't real he was my imaginary friend who stayed with me for a very long time he left me when I was 14...... The pain and sadness I felt I can't describe it.....
