Question: Is the DayZ mod on Arma Reforger a fan-made mod?
Opinion: Unfortunately, Arma Reforger for us is going to be the only saving grace to furthering DayZ in my opinion. Bohemia already came out saying that a lot of the issues in DayZ (such as cars) will never be able to be fixed due to their Dual Engine usage for DayZ. Due to being so deep into development on both engines they use, they said that if they cut one engine out of the equation, it would be very costly for Bohemia and lead to a huge stability issue as well as content set back. So, they have already opted out of switching DayZ to a singular engine (such as just using the Enfusion engine like Arma Reforger does).
Arma Reforger uses the newest version of Enfusion and DayZ uses Enfusion, but in-line with another engine (which I do not know the name of off the top of my head).
I have not tried the Arma Reforger mod of DayZ yet because I am so hung up on actual DayZ, but the quality and gameplay of the Reforger DayZ mod looks really good. Also, is there multiple servers and how is the player base on there?
There only two dayz server that have people on it and I say reforger doesn't have alot of thing to do but getting there with each update If your looking for something new survival wise try scum it's different but if you into arma get refoger people are really friendly
i didnt buy reforger yet, but i assume, the mod isnt far enough in development, does it have zombies? or is it only players and the ai at the moment?
it's basically a testing ground for arma 4
It's a testing ground they have base building traders no zombie they did but weren't good

I would get it if you got good pc I dont know about Xbox but people I speak to say modded server on Xbox is impossible to play

Ai is over the top they have next level aim and take some rounds so for xbox its very difficult @@Fifty1p
mods are definitely not playable on xbox sadly, extreme lag and extra crashes w more than like 5 mods downloaded

first time i hear that , loads of xbox players on the server and they all seem fine
I'm xbox had no issues couldn't be fixed with a quick reboot, usually around 12hr consistent gameplay without issues 👍 it's a stable server but bear in mind with mods when the game updates the mods need updated and these guys are very fast at keeping up with the changes 😉👍
