The Knobula Kickain is a kick drum module with reverb and stereo spectral sidechaining.
The Vult Freak is a super multi-mode filter with a TON of awesome filter models.
We'll give them both a nasty workout with our good friend, the Modbap Osiris wavetable oscillator.

Oh, nice to get some backstory. I use caudal all the time.
I was just expecting a raw sounds and filter sweep sort of demo-why that was all I was expecting from the madlad Mr. Blake is beyond me in retrospect-but when that sweep turned into a drop I was sold.

So nice to see loving a filter in hardware that I've been in love with for years in software! Vult was the first set of modules I actually paid for, around vcv rack 0.6, mainly to support his amazing work, and the wonderful nastiness they produce.
I don't normally comment on videos, but I just have to say a couple things.
1) I love your videos. Your demos of gear are the best around. Your videos are always musical and interesting and never feel like they're droning on. Even this, which is pretty repetitive, still stays interesting and doesn't get old. That's pretty unique in the CZcams gear demo environment. Having said that, I also hate your videos because you'll blow my mind with a demo - and then the mad rush ensues to buy the gear.... and it keeps being sold out when I go to get it. If your Patreon gives inside access to videos before they hit CZcams, count me in.
2) This is just friendly advice from somebody you totally don't know and my opinion is pretty irrelevant to your personal life. But!!! I truly hope these companies are paying you well. You are certainly lining their pockets. I realize the integrity of 'keeping it real', but man I think you're big enough in this scene that you should be free to speak your mind... they should take it or leave it. Maybe it's just coincidence, but every time you demo something it's out of stock within days (I don't think it's coincidence). From one human being observing another human being from a different perspective... I just hope you know your worth to the community. And I hope the Vult Freak comes back in stock before I die. If anyone has one to trade, I have a bunch of Ramen I'll gladly trade for the Freak. Not the cheap stuff either. We're talking "Top Ramen", chicken flavor. ✌❤😄

YOOOOOO he's vinally been converterd to the Vult side. I've used vult filters in VCV for years and years now, if I can ever afford eurorack Freak is on the top of my list
I feel very fortunate to own a Vult Freak and this video makes me appreciate it even more

Thank you Jeremy. Holy shit, the Freak is exactly the kind of filter I want. Multiple modes, and SO much character and fun. I'm sold, now I just need to find one, haha. Also your demo was AMAZING, and in such a small package.
I've been extremely resistant to buying a Pam's because I've been worried that the workflow of it won't suit me. I'm hands-on, and I worry that it being super menu-divey will kill inspiration for me; but maybe I'm being too harsh on it without actually sitting down with it and learning it. I've been struggling to feel inspired with eurorack, and I'm trying to figure out why before I sink thousands of dollars into a system. Here's to hoping I'm not going crazy, lmao.
Yeah, good luck ever finding one! The only other thing that’s pretty close as far as functionality is the Industrial Music Electronics Bionic Lester, which is only slightly less hard to find and certainly more expensive.

Alright I don't know how all this works so I have to ask: is the only thing generating a waveform the kickain on the right? It's just generating a kick, then the Osiris and the Freak alter it? And that makes all this nuttiness we're hearing? 😳 (Except for the added drums in Ableton)

I was thinking that your voice talking over the introduction, as shown in the video, is very clear and highly projective, which is usually great. but in this case I wish that your speaking voice over was a tiny les bright so I could really focus on the device you're showing without your voice being so sparkly in the mix. cheers

I'm not sure there is any source other than from Vult/Leonardo himself. There will be more at some point.
Are the 808’s really that deep sounding?
They're almost pure sine wave with a click at the start and a slight pitch drop
