I got this when it came out back in the '70s. Glad to see a new generation appreciating the real masters of the art
Cool
I still have the copy i bought when i was kid.
i actually had this book the red skull was done up as a hessian soldier , kirby wasn't the only 1' that stan lee screwed over steve ditko , marv wolfman and a few others that made marvel stand out in the 70's and very early 80's
@@sonnysantana5454 I know. It's very sad what Stan Lee was a part of.
Stan Lee didn’t screw over anyone.
That "B. Smith" is Barry Windsor-Smith. You can see his own unique style sneak through in some of the inks.
@@RaymondRich I didn't know that!
I still have mine, and it too is well read. Crazy that it's 48 years old!
Cap was sent through history in unrelated vignettes (the story was VERY thin) to "remind him of what he represented.
FYI, John L Sullivan was the first heavyweight boxing champion
Sweet, have mine in a long box on it's side. Really scared to see what condition it's in )
@@justsurfin5013 this isn't even my copy, it belongs to a friend. I was trying to be very careful with this copy.
