Now that Shibuya is over in the anime, I want to thank all the animators for bringing these chapters to life in the most beautiful way possible. They deserve all the praise. This was phenomenal, and now we get to see our boy Yuta next season! Side note: For those that are interested in reading the manga, this episode ends on chapter 137.

For anyone having a hard time understanding what the heck fake geto was talking about, hear is what went down: (no spoilers) : In this episode Fake geto awakened two types of new sorcerers: 1. 1000 civilians that have become host to ancient legendary sorcerers. (like yuji and sukuna) 2. civilians who have potential that have been given powers using idle transfiguration (Mahito's technique. exactly what mahito did to junpei in s1) he was able to get 1000 legendary sorcerers into the civilians by activating the cursed objects in them remotely (why tsumiki fushiguro "woke up"). In order to get those cursed objects, he previously made binding vows with those legendary sorcerers throughout the years.however whatever he vowed in exchange became null once he swapped bodies. These civilians are fucked because yuji is a VERY special case where he can hold sukuna back but most people can't, so right now there's a bunch of super strong sorcerers from heian era (golden age of sorcery) in control of a 1000 people. As well as a bunch of random civilians with jujutsu powers. Fake geto's grand intention for all this is currently unknown but he did say something about "creating chaos" "optimizing cursed energy" having these people kill each other, and "the golden age of sorcery." Beyond that we don't know why

Yeah legit like the shibuya incident happened so quickly, from the time gojo was sealed to fake geto's escape amounts to no more than 2 hours. Flight from Kenya to Japan is what like 13 hours ? Come on dawg yuta is always not gonna make it in time and there is a reason yuta was sidelined in this arc cause yuta alone will solo the disaster curses.

For clarification, there's 3 things Fake Geto/ Kamo did when he used Idle Transfiguration: 1) He altered the brains of people he had predetermined to have the potential for Cursed Techniques but lacking the proper brain structure to use Cursed Energy, allowing them now to do so. 2) He woke up 1000 Sorcerers-Turned-Cursed Objects (like Sukuna) inside of people. He had them ingest Cursed Objects like Yuji did with Sukuna's finger initially. & 3) He unleashed every Cursed Spirit he had made a pact with over the last thousand years or so. So, he unleashed a ton of cursed spirits, made a ton of people into new sorcerers, and brought back a ton of ancient sorcerers/people to incarnate into vessels (remember, only Yuji can maintain control over his body since he’s special, others would just get taken over, like the people that took in the death painting cursed wombs.)

5:29 a bit of extra info, Larue, the name Yuki said is one of Geto's old group (he is the guy with the heart nipple) he said he was gonna go do his own thing just like Miguel and I find it cool that he went to work with Yuki while Miguel was working with Yuta.

Yuji going through all that trauma 🤣 just to be disrespected the minute Yuta shows up loooool. I think a lot of people totally miss Yuji's character arc. He isnt remotely the same kid from early season 1
A lot of people want hype and fights. They don't care about characters that much. Its more of who i like more seeing fight. But this is the way gege wanted it, that's how he has chose to write his story. Plot moving through battles, so is kinda undertandable. Yuji and Maki are the two characters with the most change on them and the biggest character development, with yuji's still on going.

I picked up the manga right at this chapter and the emotions were all over the place. Everyone went from begging Yuta to come back to "you know what, stay home buddy"
Jujutsu Kaisen means "Curse/Sorcery/Magic Wars". The next arc is literally the main event of this show. People start killing each other with curse. Oh, and the clapping at the end is a Japanese cultural thing. Usually when they wrap up a show, ceremony, theater, etc they do a clap. So it's intentional from the director.

Fake geto didn’t created the two types of people you talked about . Geto just gave one type of those people the ability to use their cursed techniques that they couldn’t use by changing the structure of their brain to that of a sorcerer . And he gave the other type of people the power to withstand cursed objects ( these cursed objects are a part of the sorcerers that fake geto had made contracts with and they will come back to life when someone consumes the cursed object and manages to survive just like how sukuna came back to life when yuji ate Sukuna’s finger ) . Fake geto was the only one back then who knew how to make cursed objects and that’s why sorcerers in back made contract with him
Geto was just using junpei and yuji as examples of the two types of sorcerers he awakened. So yuji ingested sukunas finger which was cursed object, which is the first type of sorcerer he mentioned, there is other people that he forced to ingest cursed objects, the reason they didnt get taken over before this moment like yuji did with sukuna, is because geto hadnt broken the binding on the cursed object until he pulled that little string thingy this episode, which now would've awakened that type of sorcerer. For the second type, geto didnt create anyone like Junpei, Junpei was just a regular guy who had a cursed technique but a regular human brain and not a sorcerers brain (which is just a thing in jjk, some civilians will have a technique but not a sorcerers brain so theyre just a normal person), mahito used idle transfiguration on junpei in season 1 to change his brain to that of a sorcerer so he could use his technique, which is what geto just did to tons of people on a much larger scale
It's really refreshing watching someone who actually understands what fake-Geto is talking about. The reaction-people I've been watching just don't seem to be understanding the lore drop. Though in defense of them, I imagine that, with their focus on both the camera and the TV show, it's hard to be thinking about deeper aspects. For people who are wondering what happen with geto? 1. In simple terms geto awakened ancient sorcerers which he had worked through out his life(it's same like reanimation jutsu from naruto) 2. There are people who can see curse but does have the potential to use curse so geto give them the potential and knowledge of there own curse and they can use curse techniques know

if you focus on the theme intro in this ep you can notice many things..like at the start yuta releasiing his sword and at the end of the intro where nanami, maki, nobara, megumi and all the socerers stands were empty....great forshadwing mappa ...apriciate their work
This next arc is going to be crazy bro. Not the Itadori extermination arc but the culling games arc. It's just like the shibuya incident except way more structured and we finally get to see Hakari's glow up and busted technique 🥶
From my understanding, Gojo failing to properly dispose of Geto's body as well as opposing Yuji's execution partly contributed to the events of the Shibuya incident, so the decision from the higher-ups does make sense (on top of them being happy that he's not there to interfere with their plans any longer)
Just to clear things out, Yuki knew that she wasn't talking to Geto at that point, she's not that dumb, and even if she was overseas she familiarizes herself to jjtech well enough to actually know what's happening, an example was how she knew about Mahito, a Special Grade, even if she was overseas the whole time like Yuta. Atleast she saved many characters in Shibuya even if she was overseas, can't say the same for Yuta.
I love the confusion after fake Geto leaves. In 2017 my city (Mexico City) went through an earthquake and had no government for a few hours. After the earthquake some places had no energy, streets were packed with chaos, communication lines were out, rumours of builindgs collapsing were all around the place (that turned out to be true), there was no police nor army prescence, random gas explosions happening, no one knew even if the president survived, and so on. This episode made me relive all that and it was haunting. I loved your reactions. Next season will be fire!🔥
Great reaction! Now about Gojo's persecution, it makes sense from the perspective of the corrupt higher ups because they've always been enemies to Gojo. They're using shibuya as an excuse to finally make a move against Gojo by blaming all that happened in shibuya to Gojo. Also, Geto's reappearance (from their mind it's still Geto) made them feel like Gojo was protecting Geto all along because everyone knew that Gojo killed Geto in JJK zero. About Yaga, well since he is the sensei of both Geto and Gojo, the higher ups thought they were his responsibility in the first place. There's also anotber reason, which is yet to be revealed in the anime.
Yuji is still the real MC....they I only bring yuta because gojo isn't there......yuta is like gojo now.....yuta was never an MC....YUTA is just like Gojo.......... regardless I still stand with yuji

In season 1, it was explained that the higher-ups hated gojo. They were forced to suspend yuji's execution because they knew that gojo would kill them if he found out. Now that gojo is sealed, the higher-ups are taking advantage of that to kill off itadori. They also killed off the principal because he sided with yuji against his execution.

Not sure if you know this or not, but we do know that when semi first grade or above cursed spirits are used in uzumaki, their technique is extracted. but after that fake geto can only use the technique once. so that idle transfiguration that he used was a one time thing and he cant use it anymore.
Yaga had two prize students. One of them went rogue and declared war on Japan The other bullied the council into not killing Itadori when he became Sukuna's host, which led to him losing control and thousands of people dying, just like the council had predicted on day one. Right now the whole country is in crisis, millions are being evacuated, and someone's head has to roll for this - Yaga's is the most logical one.
Actually, you were right on the money with the hole getting bigger. The whole Sukuna made was just 140 meters, which actually aint rly that big, and then it started to get bigger with the 10 million curses. That's why they were talking about the different districts (or wards) of Tokyo collapsing.

A lot of people want hype and fights. They don't care about characters that much. Its more of who i like more seeing fight. But this is the way gege wanted it, that's how he has chose to write his story. Plot moving through battles, so is kinda undertandable. Yuji and Maki are the two characters with the most change on them and the biggest character development, with yuji's still on going.

Jujutsu Kaisen means "Curse/Sorcery/Magic Wars". The next arc is literally the main event of this show. People start killing each other with curse.
Oh, and the clapping at the end is a Japanese cultural thing. Usually when they wrap up a show, ceremony, theater, etc they do a clap. So it's intentional from the director.

Fake geto didn’t created the two types of people you talked about . Geto just gave one type of those people the ability to use their cursed techniques that they couldn’t use by changing the structure of their brain to that of a sorcerer . And he gave the other type of people the power to withstand cursed objects ( these cursed objects are a part of the sorcerers that fake geto had made contracts with and they will come back to life when someone consumes the cursed object and manages to survive just like how sukuna came back to life when yuji ate Sukuna’s finger ) . Fake geto was the only one back then who knew how to make cursed objects and that’s why sorcerers in back made contract with him
Geto was just using junpei and yuji as examples of the two types of sorcerers he awakened. So yuji ingested sukunas finger which was cursed object, which is the first type of sorcerer he mentioned, there is other people that he forced to ingest cursed objects, the reason they didnt get taken over before this moment like yuji did with sukuna, is because geto hadnt broken the binding on the cursed object until he pulled that little string thingy this episode, which now would've awakened that type of sorcerer. For the second type, geto didnt create anyone like Junpei, Junpei was just a regular guy who had a cursed technique but a regular human brain and not a sorcerers brain (which is just a thing in jjk, some civilians will have a technique but not a sorcerers brain so theyre just a normal person), mahito used idle transfiguration on junpei in season 1 to change his brain to that of a sorcerer so he could use his technique, which is what geto just did to tons of people on a much larger scale
It's really refreshing watching someone who actually understands what fake-Geto is talking about. The reaction-people I've been watching just don't seem to be understanding the lore drop.

1. In simple terms geto awakened ancient sorcerers which he had worked through out his life(it's same like reanimation jutsu from naruto)
2. There are people who can see curse but does have the potential to use curse so geto give them the potential and knowledge of there own curse and they can use curse techniques know

This next arc is going to be crazy bro. Not the Itadori extermination arc but the culling games arc. It's just like the shibuya incident except way more structured and we finally get to see Hakari's glow up and busted technique 🥶
From my understanding, Gojo failing to properly dispose of Geto's body as well as opposing Yuji's execution partly contributed to the events of the Shibuya incident, so the decision from the higher-ups does make sense (on top of them being happy that he's not there to interfere with their plans any longer)
Just to clear things out, Yuki knew that she wasn't talking to Geto at that point, she's not that dumb, and even if she was overseas she familiarizes herself to jjtech well enough to actually know what's happening, an example was how she knew about Mahito, a Special Grade, even if she was overseas the whole time like Yuta. Atleast she saved many characters in Shibuya even if she was overseas, can't say the same for Yuta.
I love the confusion after fake Geto leaves. In 2017 my city (Mexico City) went through an earthquake and had no government for a few hours. After the earthquake some places had no energy, streets were packed with chaos, communication lines were out, rumours of builindgs collapsing were all around the place (that turned out to be true), there was no police nor army prescence, random gas explosions happening, no one knew even if the president survived, and so on. This episode made me relive all that and it was haunting. I loved your reactions. Next season will be fire!🔥

They're using shibuya as an excuse to finally make a move against Gojo by blaming all that happened in shibuya to Gojo. Also, Geto's reappearance (from their mind it's still Geto) made them feel like Gojo was protecting Geto all along because everyone knew that Gojo killed Geto in JJK zero. About Yaga, well since he is the sensei of both Geto and Gojo, the higher ups thought they were his responsibility in the first place. There's also anotber reason, which is yet to be revealed in the anime.

In season 1, it was explained that the higher-ups hated gojo. They were forced to suspend yuji's execution because they knew that gojo would kill them if he found out. Now that gojo is sealed, the higher-ups are taking advantage of that to kill off itadori. They also killed off the principal because he sided with yuji against his execution.

Not sure if you know this or not, but we do know that when semi first grade or above cursed spirits are used in uzumaki, their technique is extracted. but after that fake geto can only use the technique once. so that idle transfiguration that he used was a one time thing and he cant use it anymore.
