This movie was wonderful! I smiled and cried and laughed throughout. To me, it was transparent. They showed us their imperfections, and their faults and their venerabilites.

I sawa trailer of the movie where The Sisters were in white. Larry Clark said in his video last week that someone tried to make her sit down.

Lisa Clark from those that were there...she was acting a hot mess...and if you’ve seen her today speaking..you could just imagine all the unrefined extraness going on...even her part of the funeral video was edited and cut down, and that was like ok somebody come and get her. You could hear the shade she threw on the sisters in the edited part. “ the reason I’m up here today is because I think that one of her DAUGHTERS should be STRONG enough”....girl go sit down and stop showing your behind.

This movie was great. I haven't felt this many emotions at one time, in a while. I was shocked to see the breakdown on how powerful and ill advised the old Cogic church body was.

Bossip R Denise said they haven’t spoken to her since 1994. We don’t know if that’s true or not just like we don’t know if it’s true that they didn’t contact her...personally I feel like Queen Latifah, Mary J. and Missy Elliot did at least try to contact her but then again we don’t know who to believe 😩

THERE WERE THE 'DAVIS SISTERS' OF THE 40'S AND THE 50'S; THEN THERE WAS THE LEGENDARY 'CARAVAN' FEATURING , A YOUNG SHIRLEY CEASAR, WITH DORTHY NORWORD, ALBERTINA WALKER, AND MISS INEZ ANDREWS. HAPPY FOR THIS PRESENTATION, BUT JUST BECAUSE IT WAS FILMED IN OUR TIME, DOESN'T MEAN THERE WAS NO ONE BEFORE NOW. LOVE BIOPICS, BUT THE TITLE WAS NOT RESPECTIVELY DECIDED UPON.
