Wanna know something that makes this whole situation even more of a gut punch? If you look into Social in the menu when you are playing as Ethan at the end, and drag your cursor up to Red(Hiccup), not only does his portrait show him in pure shock with his eyes shadowed, just as he was at the incident, but... well, I think this speaks for itself of what Ethan truly thinks of our boy:

I love this game. The downfall faced by the protagonist was foreshadowed earlier (Lance's speech about failure, Sabrina's prophecy, Cheren's rancor), and maybe we are seeing the factors that will bring the protagonist back (Leaf and Ethan searching, Blue caring despite everything...). The whole plot was well thought, and I liked the bonds you develop with other characters. I hope to see more of Academy Life.
Obviously I think a large portion aren't happy with Cheren, but I really want to see who all steps up to actually bring our boy back other than Leaf. Hopefully we won't have to play this out as Ethan and hear stories of Red sweeping through the Kanto League in silence a man who only needs his Pokemon and the least amount of words possible.

Just played the game and the emotional damage bro. Twists and turns. This was supposed to be fun. But the drama was so heavy. 10/10 writing

MC's friend weren't reliable either, back when the Pikachu gets in the hallway, only Hilbert stood up to the guards for MC and in the case of Lance, if it wasn't for Silver, the MC would be "dead-meat", and everyone else ditched him when he needed them, I would say friends with "benefits", they wouldn't be with him anyways, figuratively Leaf was the first one to look for him, and Blue despite being always a jerk he did make up for it; his way.
Cheren and those incest twins were the worst lmfao, I mean they literally crossed the limits, it would still be good, besides the authorities didn't even bother to stop them from torturing Sabrina

I picked ralts as my partner after pikachu and seeing that it has the ability to feel other people's emotions, I wonder if friendenergy magnifies it if so, Ralts can feel all the sadness Hiccup went through towards the end of this chapter.
Either Tia needs to hand out those hugs or that 'dangerous' forest pokemon needs to be a Celebi that goes back in time to knock Cheren unconscious around 4:49.
well this was one insane bombshell. Blue, the dude who was a jerk to us in this game, was protecting our MC his life cause he saw forsaw the power and potential of "Frienergy" having this amount of damage at the election and also maybe possibly was also protecting our MC his entire life from the potential harm of "Frienergy"? not expecting Blue to be the Anti-Hero of this game. Cheren, a character we liked and trusted in the pokemon series betrayed our trust and destroyed our MC's future just to further is dreams and ambitions and didn't care what the consequences would affect him and others? dear neptune, what will mhappen next
Blue is still a terrible person he basically made red a completely loner in highschool.

Blue is surely an asshole, along with that he leaks information quite easily, when it comes to defending his arrogance, on top of that Cheren was his roommate, Blue knew what he did both intentionally and unintentionally, and he did try to talk to MC out of it, he knew the repercussions, if it wasn't for Leaf shoving her ass off in the conversation, he might have actually say something convincing to MC, you can't say "he didn't try" !
@@FcShiay Honestly there was plenty of ways for blue to convince red to talk to him, I guess he was in the heat of the moment and we really can't blame Leaf as Blue hasn’t shown any reason for them to listen to him.

I saw comments about Hiccup becoming Red but i think Leaf would talk down to Hiccup and stopping his descent into being lonely
