I own both shoes. The vapormaxes are amazing they grip really well and are very comfortable! Breath ability is amazing! The bubbles take more to get used to, but once you do, they really help cushion your feet. I use them for the gym and running. My feet last longer on these.
The air maxes are amazing too! They are a good everyday casual shoe and you can workout in them too. They’re super comfortable after you break them in. Not as good breathability as vapormax but my feet will never sweat in them either so still good. Personally the air maxes look nicer to me so I try not to ruin them. I wear the air maxes more often since they’re more casual and are what I’m used to.
Vapormax is an acquired taste lookwise and feel wise, but they’re overall a better athletic shoe.
Air maxes for general purpose and light activity shoe. You’ll be more sad if you ruin a good looking air max over the vapormaxes.

I swapped out the insole/footbed of that garbage VaporMax insole with a much better insole and it made a huge difference. Shoe is so much more comfortable with a better insole added to... Definitely recommend.

I’ve had the air maxes for 2 years now and they’re super comfy. They only thing I don’t like is that in triple black the shiny soul gets really scratched up over time

No the durability is trash, my friend scraped his foot lightly by accident and it exploded making a loud sound, also after popping, the 270 bubble feels like a flat tyre

Soarin8 they’re definitely comfy kind of a mix between prestos and vspormax id say. I’m only 13 and 5,5 so For me the air unit is quite rigid so I’m not sure how it would be walking with some weight.

I bought 220€ vapor max and they are great they feel so cool to walk in , I’ve been wearing them for a while and there so comfortable and I’ve stepped on glass and sharp rocks multiple times and they still have not popped and I get so many compliments, definitely recommend them
I have a vapormax triple black I just adore it and how it looks and makes my feet look smaller ... but ....oups few weeks after buying I start to have pain in lateral side of my left foot after a long day while travelling so ... few days later still feeling pain I sought medical advice and did an x-ray and was told nothing in it and maybe it's tendinitis ... a week ago i noticed that the lining of my shoe is more worn where it hurts me more ...removed the floor to find that the middle air bubble is prominent and that why I was feeling pain !! So sad
I rolled my ankle in the 270s while playing basketball, too. But they are still comfortable shoes if you’re wearing them for casual things.

Look at how clean those Pure Platinum Vapormax are. I have the same pair for just shy of a year now and they will never see that kind of clean again. I know Sammy said it, but you can look at those and tell you guys haven't worn them enough to see how they feel even better over time.

Ive got the olivegreen/black ones and at first i didnt really like them but now i really like the VaporMax shoe!! And they look really cool despite what most people on CZcams say about the VaporMax
Looking back on this video, both shoes have become cheaper and perhaps a better bargain. If you dig around at your on the internet or your regular outlet store, you can find both shoes at >$120.

I’ve got both of the shoes and I have to say 270s were better in lifestyle and decent in sport but the vapormax for lifestyle it’s ok but for sports I it’s really only good for running so I would go for the 270s

The 270 does give me a “tilted” forward feeling...the lift of the 270 and wedge of the forward midsole make it feel like you’re leaning forward or walking down a slight grade. Fit is spot on to size and even with my size 13 wide, they slip in and out with no force whatsoever. My VaporMax 2.0, totally different shoe...so to compare only because of the Air, is kind of silly IMO.

Vapormax 2s are beautiful in my opinion. If there is any comparison its either the ultraboosts or Hovr Phantom but the ultraboosts are just a bit casual looking in my opinion.

@@DwyaneWadeCounty what I meant by feel on feet was how the Vapormaxes can feel uneven and like theres a hole in the middle of the shoe due to how the air unit is designed…that being the air unit being mostly on the sides of the shoe, and really nothing filling in the middle like traditional foam midsole and rubber cupsole shoes do.
My vapormax bubbles hardly compress, I have no idea why they flattened out like that

I like the vapormax.. Not so much the 270. The air unit is way to big and bulby. Still pricewise the vapormax is still holding me back buying them. Looking at them for 2 weeks now.. But i cant really justify the price.

I feel like they could put more air pressure in the Vapormax, especially as I'm a heavy guy. I have a pair of fake Vapormax's and the Air unit has way more air pressure in them and they are the most comfortable shoe I have.

If you put helium in the vapermax it would be heavier because helium takes up less mass than air so it would take more to fill it which would make it heavier.

I have a pair of nmd r1's a pair of airmax 270s and new balance 997h and the nmds are the most comfortable then airmax. surprisingly the new balance are least comfortable but they run too big so yeah..
I was smart I wore my air forces to buy my vapormax acronym and the guy said the vapormax painful shoes it you wear them to long and I said and if you add a Air Force insole he said tbh I’ve never thought of that or heard someone do that and I did it and the shoe felt dumb comfy one shoe with my insole and the other shoe without insole there was a huge difference 😊💯
