    2:42 I've been looking for ways to reduce yard waste, and this wood chipper seems like the perfect solution. Thanks for the info

  • @tgsgardenmaintenance4627

    Used a big chipper years ago at Boscombe down, for the life of me, I can't remember what make it was, but it went through everything we threw at it, probably up to 16 inch! The most precise job I've had to do as it was a sensitive defence site!

    Another interesting comparison is to measure how much fuel the machines use, no load, for say an hour.
    This gives an indication of total parasitic load.
    The remaining power is what is left for chipping.

    • @unlimiteduploads2971
      @unlimiteduploads2971 Před 10 měsíci

      nobody has these running idle anyway cause they are so noisy, so idle fuel consumption is a bit pointless don't you think.
      more like running them for 4 hours in the woods and chopping or 2-3 hours or so and then checking, the reason for multiple hours is so u get a better average since its hard to determine which has chopped more wood.

    2020 onwards 230's are utter crud, so weak, in regards to changing blades you don’t have to remove inner spring the bolt comes out easily, the 35 hp kubota engines eat 9 inch wood with ease, we had a forst st8 55 hp on demo and it couldn’t keep up with our 230, absolute animal

      Hi J B, do you think it was unbiased? I hoped the only negative was me banging my head on the Timberwolf testicle hahaha. The Timberwolf was at full chat and we had turned the Forst feed rollers down to match the speed of the Timberwolf. I’m guessing your a Timberwolf fan? 😂

    Team greenmech 100% after owning timber wolf wasn't impressed I have used lots of forst machines impressive performance but they were new machines what they will be like when they have 1000hrs on I am not sure. just few things I didn't like on the TT6P they keep ringing to sell me one but I am sticking with my GM quad chip 👍 easy to use and maintain we live 30mins away from the factory so parts super fast when we need them. Dunno whats going on with that timberwolf but ive got same one and my anti stress would of not kicked in with what you put in it. Seemed very aggressive compared to mine... strange. Also im sure my anvil is just one bolt and it slides out. And never had those wires pulled by anything with they are clamped fairly securely and out the way when the chipping neck is folded up anyway. I have heard those switches failing on the forst and don't think they are cheap.

    Normal, ils ne jouent pas dans la même catégorie. Le timberwolf a un moteur Kubota de 3 cylindres en 1005 cm3 tandis que le Forst a un moteur Kubota de 4 cylindres en 1505 cm3 bridé en 24cv mais qui a plus de couple..

    They push the Forst really hard in my neck of the woods. I bet they let dealerships have them on display for free or even pay them. 750kg chipper class is a very European thing due to any heavier requiring a B-E license.

    • @MachineryNation
      @MachineryNation  Před rokem
