is there a build video for the pistol/shield build we see gameplay from?
You should put out a video showing these same talent combinations with typical weapons and specs that enhance them and I don't mean the full armor set or full build I just mean:
spec - chest talent - backpack talent - single exotic armor piece - single exotic weapon
For example:
Spec: Firewall
Chest Talent: Vanguard
Backpack Talent: Protector
Exotic Armor Piece: Momento (Backpack)
Exotic Weapon: Liberty Pistol

Vanguard + galvanize gives more armor. Only requirement is using status effects but if you have Scorpio it's a constant armor.
Trauma & Wicked along with the Imperial Dynasty Holster or Vile mask. Or Trauma & Creeping death
Kinetic Momentum + Perfect Combined Arms + Waveform + Capacitor.......Chaos ensues.....so much fun.

+ 1 wyvern, 3 empress... and 1 more of your choice: china light if using explosives, hana u if you want more haste, murakami's if you need a skill to last longer.
Combined arms on the BP and on the chest piece I use tag team when using explosives (sticky and seeker) as it comes back much more quickly.

No love for us snipers I see. Perfect headhunter and vigilance don't forget to add the Sawyers knee pads lol
Got the same sniper build an it really hits hard!!!
Why Sawyers? I find Fox's Prayers to be best in slot with the damage to targets out of cover.
@@davesenior1494 For sniper builds its a very good option, more armor, ingore an explosion, and after 10 sec extra 30% weapon damage.
@@kriptonz69 I play with an MMR build as well. I found Fox's damage better without the need to wait 10 seconds (and Armor feels useless in this game!). I haven't tried Sawyers in a long time, I'll take another look. I'd be interested to hear about the rest of your build.
My other half runs that exact set up, super strong with a good aim.... I feel shamed for not including it haha!
Hunter 's Fury, Momento, Intimidate, Chatter Box/The Mop, Gunner spec, Assault drone, Banshee pulse. This works ESPECIALLY well with enemies coming out of a spawn, they don't make it out, NONE of them. I routinely do more than half of total damage and kills out of a four man squad on any mission.

Gunslinger xhchest and versitile backpack. Pair with smg and shotguns for full effect
I like perfect blood sucker on the backpack and i like Perfect Trauma on the chest. Perfect Trauma blinds enemy with shots in the head, and causes bleed with body shots. Perfect blood sucker grants 12% armor on kill. Nice combo. I swear by it.

Amazing combinations Abrax! I'm using Intimidate and Bloodsucker for my Chatterbox build, but also tried this with Adrenaline Rush and it's better indeed. Killing enemies for bonus armor can be a bit harder, especially when they're all elites and you need to activate Intimidate immediately.

Bloodsuckers is a great talent alongside Intimidate but as you say, it can be a little trickier keeping the armour up, I suppose it depends on what you want to use the build for!
Adrenaline rush , intimidate , hunter fury , I use to use that build.

YOLO build (Pure DPS cover build):All Red (crit dmg, crit chc) Perfect Glass cannon, vigilance, fenris (AR) providence/groupo/ceska, fox prayer, contractors (optional). Police M4 & EB (or Famas) Sounds super common right?? But...
***Striker turret & Striker drone with -Technician specialization and Kard pistol for 2+ skilld dmg. *** (These make the difference). Most ppl run revive hive and shield with dps (waste of time and skill slots).
This build is not for everybody, recommended for experienced players only, but if you know how to run it you will do the most Dmg and kills evey mission. It's no way around it
Love this, going to have to try running the Drone and Turret with my all reds just for that extra kick, good call dude.

@ThatAbrax I will probably try out your CQC combo with Intimidate/Adrenaline and the Skill combo. As for one of my go-tos or Favs - I love the Status Efx Build so I run Trauma on Chest and Creeping Death on BP.

I personally like running Unbreakable and Bloodsucker, you can play a lot more aggressive without fearing getting downed.
Love Unbreakable, reminds me of good old Nomad from The Division 1 lol

My Pokémon build has Tech support & Glass cannon. If you're going to hind in cover there should be a great reason to.

my go-to is Trauma + wicked, and I use deathgrip to boost the armor regen.
Nice, I really enjoy that combo for PvP, nothing like blinding someone then getting a damage increase lol

Imo vindictive and finisher are fantastic together, one gives you crit and crit damage on status affectef kill and the other on kill, now, build into ongoing directive and grab wiked..massive dps on a skill build.
I recently dropped the exotic backpack memento is it? I use that with intimidate on my chest with high armour and the striker shield. I use shock traps or heals for my team. The exotics lady death smg or the scorpio shotgun, i know its exotic reliant but damn it works so well together, im a damage tank that can actually help out the team in more than one way which feels good. I do sometimes switch out to a perfect vanguard adrenaline rush build too

Memento and intimidate is pretty good as well but you need to play hybrid
It's a solid hybrid/damage builds, I love how versatile the Memento can be

That's Something that a lot of people over look, no point having all the damage in the game if you can't hit the target!

Obliterate + Vigilance is the best combo for damage and survivability.
It is a solid combo!
May I ask where the survivability comes from with this combo? Neither lend themselves to survivability

Hmm if you're looking for damage Vigilance or maybe Concussion but if you want to run into the thick of it Adrenaline Rush can be fun on a crit build.

Hey,
The Crossbow is the specialization weapon for the Survivalist, To unlock the specializations you need to complete the Capitol Building for the first time and move onto the World Tiers, when you enter WT1(World Tier 1) you'll get a prompt to go back to the White House/ Base of Operations to unlock the first 3 specializations Survivalist(Crossbow), Sharpshooter(Tac .50 Sniper) and the Demolitionist(Grenade Launcher).

What about Focus + Vigilance? Best DPS combo?
One of the best and my go to for anything Legendary but it takes a little bit of an odd playstyle so I decided to leave it out for this video.
Okay I'm curious what is your pistol specs, 9 Million headshots????? The stability on that is also insane, almost no recoil, I mean I run a Firewall shield build with 4 piece Hunters Fury and Ninja kneepads, and Chill Out w/Max Armor and my firestarter shotgun only deals 2.5 million on hard... what am I doing wrong?
Ah, I had to re-watch to check the build! That's the Regulus exotic combined with Perfect Headhunter on the chest and Vigilance on the backpack with headshot damage rolled everywhere, very fun build that I actually have a vid on if you're interested: czcams.com/video/EEs-U0gi9h8/video.html

Momento is so good with so many things!
After getting beaten by NPCs hard in TD 1, I moved back to TD 2. It's really impressive how strong agts are in TD 2.
Very different feel from game to game
the actual thing is div1 pve content is easier than ever compared with a game needs low health protection

@@roberttong8877 lmao so the same for npcs they can one tap you in any way like by nade, sniper, machine gun strafe, melee, and 'strong' agents can only play skill builds in all legendary missions so ebic
@@n0dy3a I finish legendary with Striker bd most of the time. If with skill bd, I don't even need to head up to get hit.
NO BUILD WILL WORK for long on heroic solo, without atlease a watch score of 500 or more. plus ( you do) have to stay far enuff back from enemies not to get hit much... "ive tried so many of these different builds" they just work alil bit, rather with shield or not... without a very high watch score..

It does, some talents have definitely changed since.
I actually had to go back and listen to how I pronounced it haha
Mostly I play solo, and my choice is to armor regen and critical damage. So I create my own build based on Obliterate (or Spotter) and Vigilance. I use two pieces of Golan Gear and one piece of Belstone Armory to gain 2% armor regen which is very cool; one piece of Ceska Vyroba and Grupo Sombra; and kneepads Fox's Prayer. Additional parameters are all going to crit chance and crit damage with one or two for armor regen. In this build your main skill is a Crusader shield.
Perfect balance between damage and armor, 54-55% crit chance, 140-150% of crit damage, over 1.3 million armor.
