@@ChantelStays In this example, you just have to workout and training. So goes for every sport you watch. I just started to basketball 3 months ago and now I can jump so high i can dunk(im 1.82m). I play soccer my whole life. And learned to jump from 10 meter in the local swimmingpool just by jumping from 5 meter many times. You just have to go out there and do it. You will gradually become bettter and better. Hope this helps. One last thing, I always doubted myself in thoese situations, but the thought of regretting it when I become older is stronger and push me through anything! :)
From what I recall from my psych courses there's generally rougly fixed percentages of different types of these traits, for instance picky eaters and people that will eat anything always make up certain percentages of the population (no I don't remember the numbers). It's believed this is an evolved group trait to survive variable environments, so in my example if foods turn out to be poisonous or contaminated the picky eaters live, in famines the people that will eat anything live. I'd say risk aversion falls in a similar vein, to keep a stable population you're going to want most of your population to be risk averse, but in order to continue expansion and deal with dangerous environments you'll likely need less risk averse members. Jumping on trampolines is likely quite tame compared to the evolutionary pressures that created the traits (like fighting large wild predators with rocks and sticks lol).
