I went out to Amicalola Falls State Park on this beautiful October day. The Park is home to a 729-foot waterfall that is the highest in Georgia. Amicalola Falls is considered to be one of the Seven Natural Wonders of Georgia.

The blue rectangular marks on some of the trees and posts are "blazes"; they blaze/mark the way to the top of Springer Mountain and the official southern end of the Appalachian Trail, at which point the blazes are white, leading the hiker all the way to the summit of Mt. Katahdin in Maine, the northern end of the AT.
I'll be following to find out about these awesome trails. Rock on dude

When I was a kid there was a very famous played at the Speedway.
It had the Grateful Dead, The almond brothers and the band.

you mentioned there was a better trail for dogs, what trail is that called and can you still see the waterfalls?
Yes, I am not sure of the name, but go to the visitor center. They should tell you the name and where it begins. One you are at the upper parking lot, you can go and view the falls. I am planning to to go back just to do that trail for all my dog friends. It is a very nice trial.
