Hello everyone! I hope you've had a lovely year and I'm so excited for the next. I hope you enjoy this simple little video. I was a bit unwell this week again so I was not able to do anything too fancy but appreciate you being here nonetheless.

I am doing a temporary Patreon account from January through April (before baby's arrival). I will be recording and posting daily journaling prompts where I talk through my process and share quotes, ideas, and concepts that will inspire my journal entry for that day. We will be able to support each other to embrace journaling as a mindfulness practice and consistently sit down for at least ten minutes each day for a bit of peaceful self-care.
In addition, I will post extra videos as time allows on topics of interest by demand, including read-aloud short stories, meditation sessions, life updates, answering questions, home tours, bookshelf tours, children’s book updates, etc. there is no obligation to support me there, I just wanted to try something fun and appreciate anyone who is interested!

I hope you are all well, Happy New Year! This week is a simple home life video as I am desperately trying to finish some much needed winter projects! I will be back in the new year with some new videos with fun recipes, crafts, and whimsy. In addition to daily posts, I plan to record my short stories in audiobook format for Patreon! I will be posting The Winter Fairy and The Fox and the Fairy Child in quality audio in January (with music and ambient sounds).
In addition, I will be making little updates on a variety of topics depending on what interests you! I recently I made a little video announcing that we finally learned the gender of our baby, and while I don’t like to post very much about parenthood here, as a new mom that was just too exciting not to share 😊 I appreciate your understanding I may briefly mention it now and then. We are also looking for name suggestions!
Anyway, I wanted to dedicate some time to trying out something new as pregnancy symptoms are still slowing me down a bit. How lovely to receive your post (at 3pm on new year's day here). It is quite nice to have time alone to anticipate the return of people we love I feel. My new year has been very quiet also, the highlight being two plover chicks bathing in the terracotta waterdish , while their mother watched from the shade of the palms on my front lawn. I do enjoy watching a countdown for New Years and I was searching for “calm new years countdown” and “nature new years countdown” and everything was “NYC”, “Vegas” or “LA”, which are not my vibe. Take notes, take pictures. 40 years from now you will be so happy you took the time to document so maany momentss in yours and your childs life!!!!

Happy New Year! As a senior, and also a caregiver, my days seem to pass quickly. I am trying to have a time of prayer/reflection/study each day, as well as exercise, reading, and sketching. I did a project for my grandchildren for Christmas and realized how rusty my drawing was. All your projects look and sound charming.
As a new mother I remember I had to learn to have those moments of refection and calm whenever they could be worked in throughout the day or week. My greatest ad ise is to care for yourself and the baby, and get your rest. Learning to adjust expectations and be is so important. I think you will be wonderful parents.

I love the concept of a rich interior life. So important to figure ourselves out and be a friend to our own minds.
As a therapist who has worked with clients with eating disorders, I just want to say (in case you don’t know) that pregnancy can be a very difficult and triggering time for someone with a history of eating disorders. It is hard to have your body change so much without any control. Please know if you’re struggling you are not alone. Please find a therapist who has ED treatment experience. You’ve taken care of all of us who enjoy your channel, please take care of yourself and know that there is no shame in struggling during pregnancy. ❤

I'd just been feeling pudgy and exhausted until then. I hope your nausea resolves soon. I just found out last month that my brother and sister in law are expecting their first in late may/early June. We're all so excited for them🥰. I have 3 kids 6-3 years old, and the pregnancy itself was always harder for me then the labor or postpartum, so I've already made some meals for them with more to come. I've saved literally all our baby things in hopes I'll one day have a 4th, but I'm not sure how realistic that really is, so I'm giving them a great deal of all the baby/pregnancy things. She texted me the other day and thanked me again for the pregnancy pants because she realized how much more comfortable they are

Cottage Fairy, fortunately, I was pregnant most of the fall and winter months since I was always so hot during pregnancy. My only child (son) was born in the second half of April. Perfect timing. By that summer, I had him in the pool with me to stay cool. Happy New Year.

Happy New Year Paola, I have to share this story with you. Each year we vacation in the Florida Keys, there is a huge tree my grandchildren decided it was The Fairy tree so they would help build little houses out of twigs and leaves notes. Well, each morning there would be a note from the fairies and a little gift to show their appreciation. I ordered from you The Dandelion Fairy and the Springtime Fairy along with the fairy cottage. We wrote a note to my grandchildren from the two fairies. I placed the pictures in frames along with the pictures you sent a card describing the fairies. The note said in essence that they knew where grandma lived because she told them so they sent a picture of each other and of course their cottage when they were not living in the Fairy Tree in the Florida Keys. I video taped them reading the letter and the excitement seeing the fairies and to find out their names. They both asked their Mom to,put the letter from the Fairies in a safe place. I want to thank you for inspiring me to keep the magic of the fairies alive for my grandchildren and myself. This is one Christmas they will remember the gift from the fairies. I love the months of January and February here in South Central PA. I just packed away the holiday decor, leaving everything generically “Winter” out and adding to it. I spend these months getting my hygee on and will head into Spring rested and relaxed. We are expecting our first snow at the end of the week…..plenty of food and fuel laid in and so ready for it ❤️🙂☕️🥧🫖❄️🧣
