    I started by just turning the heat all the way up and then slowly bringing it down, and that worked for me…. Much Appreciated!!!

    Yes this did work on my 05 silverado. Only thing is i had to disconnect the box and run the a/c. While the truck was is accessory mode. I change the temp from hot to cold then turn the ac off. Reconnected the box, crunk up my truck and turned the ac back on. And it worked😊

    Had this problem on 05 sierra,
    1st. turn off ignition, as soon as possible once you realize it isn't cooling.
    2nd. Restart vehicle, if it begins cooling.
    Take to ac shop
    Ask for the shim to be removed on the ac clutch.
    I replaced, belt, both high and low sensor, had it recharged with proper ounces.
    Humbly drove into account shop, cost 150. Be running great for 3 years.

    Too much work , put the climate controls just above cold on both sides turn fan speed to 3 disconnect ac fuse located under hood by drivers side turn on truck for 45 seconds turn off for 15 seconds reinstall fuse turn back on should work. You may have to try a couple times. These instructions are for 03-07 Silverado climate controls with sliders knobs but may also work for digital climate controls.

    so bascially hes saying the battery needs to adjust or be reprogrammed to the system if the battery is replaced which i did replace my battery so ill check this out tomrrow ill let you know if it works.

    • @ricknelson4793
      @ricknelson4793 Před rokem

      The system should reset itself when changing the battery. This is a separate problem with Chevrolet when they blow hot air with the air conditioner is on.

    hey easy way from instructions to calibrate the Hvac .... so 1st turn ignition to acc dont start just acc then to have both temps at same time just press Auto wait till the display shows arrows at bottom with word auto between then 2nd turn truck off open hood open fuse box remove 10 amp fuse that says Hvac wait 2mins then put fuse back in 3rd ya turn truck ignition all the way starting the truck the temp display should show 74 farinhiet with air condition snow flake on DO NOT TOUCH GIVE IT NO LESS THEN 15SEC NO MORE THEN 30SEC 4th turn ignition all the way off turn back on and select ur desired temp and output and thats it done.
