- The last few weeks have been totally mad with nursery-acquired illnesses, and so the tidying and sorting of the house has been the last thing we have felt like doing! However, I woke up from my night shift and set myself the mission to clean and tidy as much of the house as possible.

A bit about me:
I am 33 years old and live with my wonderful husband, Matt, who I married in June 2021! I am mum to our wonderful baby girl, Evie, who was born in July 2022. I am a tea-drinker, a foodie, a dog-mum to a beautiful Sprollie called Murphy, and a lover of theatre and music.
I qualified as a Midwife in September 2019 and have been working as a fully qualified Midwife at a UK hospital since October 2019.

Does your Trust not have electronic notes? I always check on the ladies I’ve cared for via our PCs, I can’t imagine not knowing the outcome 🥰

Yeah, I love it, and I’m actually really proud to have it too as it’s such a nice nod to how hard it was working during that time!
Yeah they do have electronic notes but we aren’t meant to look stuff up that isn’t directly related to current care; and often I can’t remember their full names or hospital number to look them up a week or so later…

Where shit comes to die 😂😂 your honesty always makes me giggle!x As an ex-NHS employee, it was reassuring to know it’s not just me who thinks/used to think about patients after leaving. Well done you for all the cleaning up, I think I’d of stayed in bed haha x
Haha; yeah you’ll get brutal honesty with me, that’s just how I am! 😂
I often think about them; and it’s so nice when you do get that closure of finding out how they got on, but it doesn’t always happen.
