LadyCouch - "Breathe Better" - Acme Radio Session

Our Best Artist Ever (of the Month) is none other than local heroes, LadyCouch! Formed by founding members Allen Thompson (who perhaps has been featured on Acme Radio more than any other local Nashvillian since our inception) and Keshia Bailey, the group has expanded both its roster and sound into a pumping machine of soulful rock with some very jam-centric tendencies, often spilling onto stages with 10 or more members.
Their new record Matter of Time sees Bailey and Thompson looking to their fellow bandmates to aid the songwriting process, which results in a sprawling, genre-bending sound while maintaining the core of LadyCouch's expressive storytelling. Seeing LadyCouch live is like stepping into a party full of people you love (often times, it's exactly the case), and it seems they were able to capture that energy well on Matter of Time.
