Just playing around with this and I’m starting to like it a lot. Coming from 4 - 3 Linear, 5 - 4 classic before that (don’t ask). 4 - 3 Linear, for me, has just gotten so jerky when trying to fine tune my aim at distance. I don’t know if it was the update, my steam overriding something or the fact that I’ve been playing a lot of Valorant on mouse that now my brain thinks my controller aim is going to be just as smooth. Lol Whatever it is, this seem to make that go away!

Gameplay > Button Hints set to "on" is actually useful beyond just showing your input type on the HUD. It also adds a hand raise icon " 🙋" to the pop-up info windows for loot you're looking at, indicating a teammate needs that item (if they need attachment/equipment upgrades, survival slot is empty, or just ammo types needed.)
Reaaaaaally helps out when playing with randoms on ranked, when people don't always have a mic to communicate what they need.

I honestly feel like the “no vibration” sentiment is just herd mentality. I use vibration because it vibrates differently if you hit your shots or miss. It vibrates when you go for a wall bounce and hit the wall. It’s a physical indication of things happening in the game. It’s preference in the end but to say it’s useless or a detriment, is just wrong. Still tho, great video. Thanks miz.

No vibration is valid but there's a middle ground to be had too. The problem with vibration is if you have a strong rumble motor and low stick tension (such as a stock DualShock 4 controller) then the shaking WILL affect your ability to control recoil, especially on guns with higher than average kick-up (Havoc, R-99, etc.)
But, if you have a controller with a high stick tension (Xbox Elite, custom pro controllers, etc.) you can usually maintain recoil control despite vibrations. If the controller software can adjust the vibration intensity as well, you can just turn that down to the minimum needed to get the rumble feedback cues, while still minimizing the impact on the stick control.

reset to the “zero point”. always keep your fingers on the sticks and reset to the point where there’s little to no drift

@@rMizery I've been playing apex for years and every day the first thing I do is mess with my settings I use response curve 10-11 with deadzone 2 everything is set to 0 and the pitch and yaws are 500 for both ads and non ads .... The lowest I can go on response curve is 7 without it going crazy

miz, settings are broken in this game. the "tab" you are playing on impacts controller sense (not sure about mk). colorblind mode, 2d/3d, damage indicators, whether you've activated/then deactivated ALC, whether you've done the same with default per optics, etc.... no one knows how it works. no one should ever make another video until it's understood, tbh.
