Adding the grean tint to the top layer of lacquer was a master touch, the layers give it the 3d effect that would have taken a while to get with UV.

May you tell me what the different between pelham blue and ice blue? I got a job to do a pelham blue but its almost similiar to ice blue, and lake placid blue too hahaha i really confused

I was wondering what is your opinions on tonewood, more to the point why to do some people deny the wood has an affect on the tone? I think its mostly guys who play high gain music like metal, with a lot of distortion you don't really hear the tone of the guitar, more the amp. Your thoughts?

Indeed, high gain cancels out the influence of wood on the final sound. This is why a lot of people don't understand how the guitar system works. But for those who play on a cleaner sound, without extreme compression in post-production (any effects are already post-production), this is obvious and important.

What is the first coat of paint exactly? Does it influence the colour of the guitar that this layer is orange/red? Spasibo.

Hi. It's porefiller. It's red because I've have red from previous project. Pelham blue is a very dense and opaque color and no red can be seen underneath. Therefore, in this case, the color of the filler does not matter.

Зачем фольга в отсеке потенциометров?
Звукосниматели ловят помехи на несколько порядков больше чем всё остальное вместе взятое, так что фольга - мёртвому припарки. А вот как приклеенная фольга влияет на вибрацию дерева, вопрос хороший.

Great work, but why? Not a big pelham blue fan. I would have gone white, black, super bright cherry red. But it is up to the end user.

If you're going to the trouble of a custom color, why would you choose the most common production colors made? One of the issues with SG's is the lack of color options.The world dosen't need more black or cherry SG's.
