One thing in the video I find really cool is that the team auto traded the 99 realizing they wouldn’t compete anytime soon with him and traded him for two 87+ players that are relatively young
He’s 18. It’s the same thing as if the Mariners traded Julio Rodriguez for two worse players who are older. It’s terrible trade logic, and it’s why the game breaks itself.

You should do a player you make and every year you spin a wheel for their attributes. And see how he does in his career with a different set of attributes every year.

Do a career sim where one player had max hitting and 30 fielding stats and the other has 30 hitting and max fielding
Do you also think mlb the show should make other stats like OPS+ available? I don't think many people realize how much of an offensive decline there has been in the league this year. Example: A .340 OBP and a .440 SLG would have been a 114 OPS+ last year, but a 120 OPS+ this year.
And I would also like it if there were advanced defensive stats and WAR was not calculated based on fielding percentage😂

Question for ya, when you start a franchise this late into the season do you use default or live rosters? I want to use default so I can make realistic trades but not having rookies have the overalls they deserve (Pena and Kwan especially) makes it tricky for me
i think he uses a downloaded roster
RidinRosters is the best to use. Sometimes the MLB the Show ratings aren’t really realistic
Part of the problem is that the stats that dont impact sim were able to take up some of his regression like the bunting

The-ROY award is sooo random in mlb the show, that can literally be someone with a -0.5 WAR and .601 OPS.
What sort of emphasis on these two things do you put on the players you draft?

You should do a team in which all pitchers are 99 and all hitters have 0 hitting stats but there defense is 99

what im seeing is that its all about how long you’re in the league. and after you reach a certain mark you just fall off. and it just gets worse each year. which is why those sims failed (imo)

This proves the show hates old guys hahah. If you had an F potential player 99 overall who was 30 years old, he’d be 65 within 1 season
That is so true! Verlander somehow gets -14 overall after one season because he is already 39 years old
In honor of Pujols retiring, you should do career sims until you can get a clone of him to have a career just as good or better, or at least see if it's even possible
