  • In this video I show you how to pack a SET-10 round canopy parachute at home, on the ground, if you don't have a packing table. It is similar to the packing procedure of an MC1-1D or SF-10.
    (I am not a rigger, so this is for informational purposes only)

    Great channel, subscribed. Got a question about the pack. What size rubber bands does that pack use for the static line? I have this exact setup (minus the chute and rubber bands) that I want to display on a mannequin in my cave. Thanks.

      The part number from paragear for the retaining (rubber) bands is S7100 for a 1 lb bag

    If you look at CFR Part 105, technically, what you are doing is an FAA violation. You cannot pack rounds on the ground.

    • @moomtaz1
      @moomtaz1  Před 2 lety +1

      Not to quibble, but part 105 doesn’t say anything about how to pack a parachute. Subpart C (specifically 105.43) discusses when it should be packed and by whom, but does not dictate how.
      Perhaps you are thinking of another regulation. If so, please share.
