- The 2024 Equinox EV is Chevrolets newest electric vehicle and they absolutely killed it!! Amazing styling, technology, and performance makes the 2024 Equinox EV one of the best electric vehicles on the market right now!!

I already have the 2023 Bolt EUV, I really think Chevy has a chance to nail down this market between affordable pricing and EV design.
The 3RS AWD with Supercruise is $55,380, and with the Fed Tax Credit it is $47,880. The Model Y Performance is $51,490 and with the tax credit is $43,990. This will 0-60 in 5.8 vs 3.5 in the Model Y. This will tow 1,500 vs 3,500 in the Model Y. Chevrolet has been making EVs capable of over the air updates for 7 years and have never done a single one. The Model Y will also charge almost twice as fast on DCFC. Even when Chevy moves to NACS compatibility to use Tesla chargers they will be limited to V3 only, which is less than 40% of Tesla chargers. They are also not giving the adapters to owners like Ford, rather charging for them. Yeah, I had high hopes of replacing my Bolt EV with this, but it looks like a total waste.
And the 1LT with the tax credit will be well under $30,000. Tesla has nothing to compete with that. Yet.
Looks build and interior don’t mean a thing these days? Tesla has amazing software. That’s pretty much it. For 90% of people the level2 at home is all we need.
Yes, but then you also have to deal with Tesla's awful styling and minimalist approach. I can't stand how Tesla designs their vehicles. The Equinox will also have superior fit and finish.
AGREED @dane9193 . I've seen thousands of Teslas around town over years and 0% of them look well-built. Teslas look, feel, and handle like cheap toys.
@@tommydan55 Neither does Chevrolet. They SAY the 1LT will be less than 30k, but they do not say what will be missing from it, when it will come out, and I seriously doubt their ability to make a sub 30k car in the US. I hope they do it, but I cannot help but doubt it.
I have a 22 Bolt EUV Premier today and the Equinox is tempting for its faster charging speed, sportier appearance, and longer range + AWD. It has less features/content than my EUV strangely enough which is surprising given my EUV with Sun & Sound package was $34,000 in 2022. The Equinox is missing Bose stereo, ventilated seats, wireless charger, rear view mirror camera from what I can find. It wouldn't bother me as much if the Equinox 3RS weren't nearly $20,000 more than my Bolt EUV was, just two years ago.
I really hope these sell well and are a success. The price just concerns me.
Just needs NACS and 250kw charging
I was shocked to find no Bose upgrade as an option on any trim either. Seems like a huge omission for a sporty vehicle, especially at this price point..
Any new video of the 2022 to 2024 Chevrolet equinox either in premier or rs trims
A few questions:
1. Is Google Maps a subscription service or is it free?
2. Is the safety package that includes adaptive-cruise available on the 2LT trim?
3. Would the range be better with 19-inch wheels?
I believe its 3 years without super cruise and 5 years with super cruise.
From what I am seeing its a 3LT for adaptive cruise. It could help with the wheel size.
I just bought one. I was told 7 years. It will be nice to have a traveling Wi-Fi system!
Nice
Agreed!
I have also compared the Equinox to the Tesla. While the Tesla has more power and maybe in some ways better electronics, there’s no comparison that the Equinox is a much better looking car both inside and outside. Tesla has been building cars for twelve years and they are still lacking in design and style. Chevrolet is way ahead in these areas.
More about the number than the rs. A 3LT has more than a 2 RS so the number should be said.
They will never bring the prices down. Clearly that's not happening. Removing all that electronic crap could actually make them affordable. But they won't.
The camera view is extremely disappointing, considering the size of the screen.
I sure hope you don’t have to buy the most expensive one to just get Super Cruise!! That would be lame!
As far as I've seen it's available on all trims released so far. No word on the base lt yet, be curious what is sacrificed to get the msrp almost $10k under the second trim up.
@@SweetLou0523 If that’s the case then I’d pass on it!! I don’t want a de-contented EV for a lower price. But also don’t want a car loaded with all the options either…hope they can make it!
Love it. Should be faster for the price compared to other EV in that price range
Could be in the future! Its the first year for it.
I agree, since it’s on the same chassis as the Blazer, why not offer the same power train?
had high hopes for this ev
absolutely hate the door handles being electric
seems unsafe that all handles pop on approach
I have driven two of them, and they are very impressive. You should too.
Is this a hybrid? I’m a little confused.
No, it's better and a full electric vehicle. If you drove this, then drove a hybrid, you'd understand why this is a far better vehicle to drive everyday.
@@dane9193 cool we already have a 2019 equinox might trade it in
Ban all cars,problem solved!
