    Thank you for the video 👍🏽 my only chance of improving voice quality with my parents (from US to Peru), would be to get them an iPhone and use FaceTime audio

      @@yourchair9966For this video I plugged one end of the aux cable into the mic port of my PC. I plugged the other end in the headphone jack of the galaxy s7. Then I recorded the Mic input from my PC with audacity.

    I studied in the web that wifi calling emits more radiation is it true?

    Maybe you should test it again now in 2023 with 5G networks

      We only have 5G NSA here, which still uses VoLTE. 5G SA and VoNR are not available in Switzerland yet.

    I wonder what the bitrate is

    • @AbRaSkZo
      @AbRaSkZo  Před 4 lety +1

      I'd say around 16 to 32 kbit/s

    • @asinegaasinega
      @asinegaasinega Před 3 lety +1

      @@AbRaSkZo the issue is not bit rate.... the issue is that they compress the data even before it gets to 16 and 32 bits. To get good calls, you want the compression to be easy on the original bits. Tbh, the carriers don't care to dedicate themselves for improving audio quality. Part of the problem with audio is that latency, which you don't really care much about in data, WILL become an issue if you try not to compress your voice data

    Can we expect anything better with 5G ?

      I don't think so

      yes by order of magnitude better. Also a los more antennas, the higher frequencies higher intrinsic losses in the air.
