  • Exercises to improve walking in MS are one of the largest requests on social media. And while I can demonstrate exercises that will help improve walking, many would prefer to hear directly from someone who has MS. Join me today as Jennifer M. chats about how utilizing MS specific exercises helped renew her walking, confidence, and more in as little as 3 months!

I wish I knew about Dr Gretchen 10 years ago. What can we do to get her on National television broadcasts to get the word out to help those like us who have received no help at all from our neurologists for years!

I agree totally !! I will be telling my Neurologist today about Dr. Gretchen Hayley! People with MS and Neurologist need to know about her immediately! 😊❤

@DoctorGretchenHawley are you able to help people with transverse myelitis? That's what I was diagnosed with in 2021. I have foot drop on my right side. I was temporarily paralyzed as well. I have an M.R.I. done every year now to see if I have M.S

why does my 'weak' leg feel so tight and heavy after a night's sleep?? why does 7 or 8 hours of rest make it soo difficult to move and walk?... takes about 20 - 30 minutes of moving to loosen up!!

@@k3of5ks it's difficult to do exercises in morning... when i do them, i'm wiped for rest of day and my everyday household things do not happen!! so i try to do small exercises like raising heels while washing dishes, or doing full squats to pick something off the floor! i save you exercise PT for at night before i sleep now. at least i get them done!! lol it's tough right?

@@janbarriault4494 Im so sorry to hear this Jan as I don't have ongoing fatigue issues. We must do our PT. Preaching to myself here 😉 If I don't exercise first thing, it will never get done. I fear not walking and that's my greatest motivator. Walking is very difficult. Wishing you a wonderful and blessed day.

There's a few reasons that could be happening - spasticity could kick in when you're lying down or perhaps when your muscles don't move for hours on end, they get tighter.

I really enjoy hearing the stories of others who are working hard to overcome the same challenges that I have. Jennifer and I have the same problems; left side weakness and walking. Great work Jennifer! Towards the beginning you asked which type of MS she has and I may have missed the answer. Thank you for this inspiring video!💗
