- A Special Note: I tried to give you an overall idea about your monthly expenses in China. The rates of milk, water, and public transport that I discussed here are almost the same in all the cities, but the rates of vegetables and fruit vary from city to city. So, don't worry about those rates. If you're coming to a big city, then add 200 yuan, or if you're coming to a small city, then subtract 200 yuan. I suppose to say that, if you manage your expenditures and if you follow what I mentioned in this video, it will not cost you more than 800 to 1200 yuan, depending on the city; that's what I've seen for almost many of the students' expenses per month.
