- We hit 2 garage sales where we found a sweet vintage 60s or 70s style side table with storage, but it was a little rough and hard to sand with all the curves, so I painted and flipped it for a great profit!!
We also found vintage Swarovski crystal and 925 sterling silver jewelry, and months worth of awesome smelling bath products!!!!

Another great video. At my yardsale, I once had a man want something that was $1 for 10 cents. When I said no, he shouted at me - “what are you going to do with it?” I told him I’d throw it in the trash! He huffed off!
That tube of cream you picked up and put back down sells for big money here in the states it was called Crabtree & Evelyn very good stuff!!

I came across someones collection of rose bowls/plates at a thrift store. That would make a beautiful wall display for a girls' bedroom or a bathroom.
You are very blessed to have someone you can spend time with and relate to. My husband wouldn't go in the first place, but it's probably because his first wife drug him to yard sales and flea markets.

I have seen "bad buyers" so many times. Another example is the kind of guy that interrupts your dealings with, "OMG that's worth so much more! You need to ask much more for that!" We saw this guy for weeks at garage sales and he blew so many deals for people. You can bet he never bought the items and the sellers probably ended up never selling the stuff either. There are the ones who grab things from directly in front of you - that you are wanting to purchase! The worst we had was a lady who stole paid for items from my husband when he put them down to hold up a shirt he was looking at. It was a church sale, she stole his stuff , went to the car to put it in and came back to steal from other people! We also saw people who tried to park, hit another vehicle and knocked off his side mirror and drove away! Oh the things you see when you are a regular garage sale shopper, it's crazy!
Wow!!! I don't think we've seen most of those things here.... People are generally polite and have manners and decorum where we live but I do admit Regina is a smaller city.

Great video. We almost sold at a show this morning. I was packed up, ready to go. But things kept me up all night, so I stayed home. Unloaded the truck and went to a thrift store. I'll have a video later. It takes up to 3 hours to upload.

Nice flip on the little side table~ looked great after you worked your magic! How did you know that crystal necklace is swarovski?
For the necklace it's an educated guess... they are heavy crystal beads and they have that iridescent coating like Swarovski, and Swarovski crystals were actually used frequently in higher end costume jewelry back in the 50s & 60s.

No I don't think so, I think she just wasn't sure she could fix that one and so left it for maybe someone else who thinks they can do something with it.
That little black can-can would have made a great lamp shade cover. I've done something similar with a silk scarf!---Nope, my prices are my prices. I'll give you one thing half off if you buy something else for full price. On Sunday, everything is half price, so buy it now or take your chances on Sunday.---Rob, I don't remember you were working from home, still imaging you trudging to work in the snow!---I'm forever not understanding why there are so many garage sales selling their bath bombs & other bath stuff.---That end table now looks like it came from the Beauty & the Beast movie, & is ready to start dancing away!!!
Haha Yes!! (regarding the table dancing away, holding hands with the clock maybe?) I think the bath bombs are maybe gifts they received and maybe prefer showers over baths? Ya I am not sure really either. 😄

I know you two probably won't notice this comment but i've been going back and binging the old episodes again and i've been wondering where Yvonne and Nancy are and have been doing if you do know. I miss seeing the both of them on the channel.
Nancy moved back to the United States, and Yvonne is retired here. I do run into Yvonne from time to time. The mall where we used to visit them is being renovated but I don't think that vintage market will be there anymore.

Nobody needs a pain in the ass buyer. That’s just rude. We were at a car boot sale yesterday and I didn’t even haggle…it wasn’t necessary.
