Just found you...I'm really starting to like again, the Primitive look for the holidays and seasons, especially Fall, Halloween and Patriotic. I guess I moved away from it in the mid 2000's and moved more to antiques and Farmhouse decor and crafts. But the last year or so, I've been adding back some of the looks I had before. I even made myself a "grubby mix" to use in crafts. I like the cinnamon stick jar because like you. I have a bunch of old ones sitting around. We have the chance to go use a friend's wood shop this week so I'm adding 3 crows to my list of things for my husband to cut out-adorable! Sweet Annie is new to me so yes!!! Congrats on your CZcams milestone!
I too was into prim a ways back. Started liking it again. Of course my home is a real mix of everything. If I like it, I add it to my decor. And yes this time of year it fits right in.

I guess I watch a lot of prim crafters. I loved the way the sweet annie looked and couldn't find any. So with that, I tackled growing my own. I am thankful it worked...lol

I think I told you once before I really don’t know what sweet Annie is. I remember your garden they were huge and you had tons of it. You had asked if anyone knew when you should harvest it. I try to find out for you by getting in touch with Sherri from flea market rescue . Her mother tickles me every time they go Thrifting at a event and she finds that she will buy everything they have. She also loves it as much as you. Unfortunately, I never was able to get in touch but looks like you did an amazing job with your harvest.

Thank you! I have some videos growing and updates on the sweet annie. I started from seed inside then transplanted to the in garden when it warmed up. Didn't do much to them after I put them in the garden. Harvested them the last of August.

Sandy can you believe I've heard of "sweet annie" but have only seen it on youtube, never real! I love the crow, it turned out pretty neat. You can sure do alot with a scroll saw. It has to be repotted. It grows big. I might try and sell some but it is so far into town I'm not sure I would be fast at shipping. I live a long ways from town.

I don't know or never heard of sweet Annie. Why do you grow it? It is pretty kind of like baby's breath. What do you do with it? Does it have a smell?😊🙃🧡💛🧡💛👍👍
I learned about it watching primitive crafts. I couldn't find any so I decided to grow some in my garden. They say it has a sweet smell but I'm no too sure about that...lol It is like a baby's breath being used in crafts and decor.
Where did you get the sweet Annie seeds? Does it multiply? I really like it in your crafts and would like to plant some. Love the cutout crow!
I bought mine from Etsy. They say it does multiply but I planted mine with a weed barrier and pulled up the stem after I harvested. I've heard it can be evasive. So I might have more next year...lol
