Now I just need a big workbench to make this small workbench
Exactly as, more or less...(say more), does every youtuber in this particular field!
And we, poor devils... would like to do it, but we don't have such a multitude of expensive tools. 😮😢... 😂😂😅😅
Btw... a really good job !
Each small step is like a big project for me
step by step closer to the end of project, keep moving forward👍😎
How to make a portable workbench for small workshops: Step 1: Have a big workshop.
Don’t forget the thousands of dollars worth of machine tools too. Finally a big bench to bolt it to so you can use it.
Don't forget the welding gear!
Have a full table saw, planer machine, jointer, miter saw, routing table, drill press, etc etc.
lol
Buy hundreds of expensive machines and keep away from not-so-expensive workbenches already selling in the market
Free plans? Dude Thanks! That's awesome!
@CraftyDude thanks for the lesson! I'll have to adjust the design for me until I learn welding.
What a great idea to make and SELL to small workshops! People seriously need to stop being so negative...
I appreciate you sharing your skills with us! It takes time and effort to make videos. Some people don't understand you can adjust a project to suit their needs. There are places like Lee Valley that provide classes and you can rent shop space depending on the area...
Great project! Perfect execution! Thank you for sharing!
It’s like a pet for woodworker! Nice project!
да это просто сказка, смотрел на одном дыхании, шедевр, Страдивари отдыхает, спасибо за материал)))
I love it. Beautiful. If i do it some day i'll gonna put one or two handles on the backside and 4 retractile legs (to when work on the floor)
Very nice! With a few changes and some fold up legs. This is exactly what I've been looking for. Thanks for the idea, it is great!
@@yosserc Without the good workmanship and without the fun of making it myself
The vise builds are amazing here!
Amigo, que coisa bem feita, "e útil", parabéns e grato por compartilhar, sucesso !!!!!
What an amazing piece of work.
Always nice to see people creating things for good use. I like it.
Thank you👍😎
Perfeito , sensacional 👍👍👍👍👏👏👏👏👏👊🙏
I've been thinking of a solution like this for a while. Your video helped out allot. Thanks for sharing your great craftsmanship.
That's a nice build. At first I thought you scavenged the vice assembly from a proper workmate. Fair props for making it yourself.
the extra height is perfect for when your back hurts from a long day in the shop. Great design amazing build thanks
Yes, thank you👍 I still thinking, maybe to make legs for it🙂
Just make a fold up stand. That thing is perfect. Haven’t seen the end yet, but I’m betting if you had some feet or a way to quick clamp or bolt. Great for any bench or on site! 👍🏻
Step by step detailed explanation. Thank you very much.
Absolutely loved this video, you are quite a craftsman. Thanks for this!
100% that is kit you should sell, and also sell plans for the diy people. Great job
I share plans in video description section, for free😎
Sensacional!!! Muchs gracias!
Cool. The luxury version of a workmate!
This is a brilliant design. I love it.
However many of us are not metal workers at this level. If this design could be adapted to some off the shelf hardware it would be perfect.
Thank you👍 welding part can be changed into screws and rivets, but still will be needed some metalworking skills to make such a project🤔
I have a very similar small bench but without the vice on the end but good addition that! Mine will have one soon now. 😁 Something mine does have is a routed-groove along the length of each jaw of the top which allows me to grip a soft tube along the length like copper pipe without compressing & damaging it. Nice job here though 👍
Thank you👍😎
Great project! Looks like a very useful addition to a shop, thank you for sharing
Now I want to build one!
This is so smart! Thanks 🙏
Отличная идея👍
Wow, great Job! I've been working with wood for a while now, but never in my life used a welding machine. This video convinced me to learn welding. It seems to open a complete new world of possibilities.
Thank you👍 It’s not to hard, just need patience and practice😎
Sir get a stick welder. It's cheapest to run and you don't need gas. You can keep a good selection of different rods without investing top dollar. I have stick, mig and tig all have their uses. The easiest and most versatile is stick.
@@joelongstaff7601 thanks for the recommendation! As the initial budget will be limited, that's probably what I'll opt for!
This is brilliant. Thank you, and thank you for the plans. The only difference I will incorporate is a single pin into each side of the the large vice, so that I can grip angled objects. Just something I have found useful on other work benches, but this is a brilliant piece of kit, and beautifully made..!!!
can't you already do that with the dog holes?
IIUC, Tintin is suggesting adding a dog (pin) or two on the _vise_ that operates perpendicular to the vise that is built into the workbench proper. A similar functional effect could be had by having a nautiloid cam available for use on a third pin i.e. one not matched, in use, with a pin on the other part (half) of the tabletop itself.
Eccellente lavoro! Credo che ne coostruirò uno uguale. Grazie infinite per i disegni condivisi!!
Watching you create this was beautiful.

Respect. Real craftsman skills. I'd buy this quality item 👍
Great idea!! Love it.
❤ Even a big work shop should have suchlike bench. I like your idea and work style.
Awesome! Great work!
Muy bueno, saludos desde Argentina!
great wood project! 😊👍🏻
Great video. Thankyou Sir. I have a couple Black and Decker workmates that need new tops so I guess they'll get oak bench tops. God Bless.
This video has a great idea for Z axis on pin routers

Congratulations, you’ve made half of a Work-Mate!
Using tools costing multiple thousands of dollars/euros/pounds
Thanks for the plans🙏
Excelente…. Excelente…❤
great idea. i also have some left over timber froma solid wood worktop like you used. thanks for the ideas
I'm going to make one...! Great idea.
This is so beautiful. However, the video means if I wanted to make a small workbench, I should have a big workshop. Lol
All you need is some basic tools and passion👍😎
Excelente amigo te felicito por el video, gracias por compartirlo y ya me suscribí
Awesome!
That was a pleasure to watch. Great video and a great woodworking project. Thumbs UP
Sensacional 👏👏👏👏
You nailed it👍
You do have to spend some time setting the saw up... blade, fence, etc. But once done, the saw is great. Fairly compact which is Nice czcams.com/users/postUgkxXh-4_3-ZT1fFWP91ZV7iVqzElr0lEb-a I did get an Incra Miter Gauge which takes some setup as well. The stock miter gauge can be adjusted in the miter slot with a little painter's tape... this tightens up the side to side play a lot.
The table saw is the Skil TS6307. I have the same saw and love what it does at the price point I got it for. :)
Very nice...just need a big workshop (and a welder) to make it!
🤣🤣👍
Good job, thanks
Amaazing ,,istimewa 👍

Stay safe there with your family! 🖖😊
Thank you MC👍🙂
You have amazing skills and experience, thanks for the video. I have learned much!
Thank you👍😎
I am sure that many of us novices/amateurs/weekend warriors would welcome folk like you producing parts lists (down to the smallest item) as we just don’t know what to ask for search for when and if we need to. I am convinced it would increase the uptake of your videos!?
Thanks in anticipation

In video description section I have added measurements of materials I used for this project, but with few project changes you can reuse old parts if you have so👍😎
@@CraftyDude Thank you so very much, it’s both great and amazing to see a creator responding in such a manner. Thanks again matey.
Bob
Dunno if "unique" is the right word, but well executed none-the-less
Impressive!!!😁
Your best project to date. Love it. The metal working makes this one unacheivable for me though. Still awesome.
Don't let the metalworking hold you back you can do it too you have no welder and figure out a different way of finding things together and didn't have to be made out of metal to be done all out of wood to!
Thanks.🎉
Black and Decker Workmate
…so these probably won’t be available at IKEA or Harbor Freight anytime soon? Dang it! Nice job on this. Really!
Отлично!
Ah, the good old fashioned catch 22. "To make your small portable workbench for small shops, first you're going to need your fully stocked yet large and open workshop."
It's just a small workshop with basic tools 😎
slick!
Nice bench bud! That thing looks very handy! 👍🏻
Thanks! It is very very handy💪😉
Great project, congratulations! The most important thing is from improvised means, everything is simple and accessible. For the drawings - special thanks!
👍😎
Very nice good job
Awesome work. I’m subscribing. Would love to see you’re design for a small, mobile router table that can work with a battery router for working outdoors.
🤣 Love how it screams every time you you clamp it. However, for real, this is pretty awesome. I'm going design mine to attach to the Craftsman folding saw horses I have so I can make it even more portable. Which if anyone is interested, keep an eye out for those saw horses this holiday season. I got both of mine for less than a $100 total. Normally they are more expensive. You'll want a pair because they clamp together for storage.
Diy sawhorse and save 100$😉
Satisfying
Man that was such a great idea! I’ve been wanting to build something similar. Got a lot ideas from yours. Thanks
Sell it man, sell it!!!
beautiful! please consider posting the plans as an imgur album also, that's far easier to share around.
Genial 👍👍👍
