From all the bands I've enjoyed as a teenager, DGD is the only one that I continued to listen and sing along 'till nowadays. They have something different that other bands can't reach. I just can't explain.

+R. N. Baphomet To me it all comes down to Will and Matt's writing... They have a special lock between them that helps them to continuously create unique and addicting music. I feel like they are always able to "re-create" their style in new but favorable ways, that always keep me coming back to see what they will do next. No matter what vocalist/ screamer combo they have, it's still somehow stayed DGD because of those two. They have always been the "rock" of the group (and I would add Jon to that in most respects) Which is an amazing feat, especially in this genre.

Years after their prime I believe they will be appreciated. Many musical acts aren't really appreciated till years later.
Anyone who listens to this genre of music knows they're already legends. So original. I prefer it to stay to actual fans and not people who are into it for a fad. I hope they get all the recognition they can, I just hope its for the right reasons.

For a band that was once the center of a lot of drama, having all three vocalists together is absolutely legendary. Sadly I wasn't yet a fan of DGD when this was going on, and I doubt they'd ever do this again. :(
Brucifer all depends on new albums and if All the bands are able to get on tour again. Other than that I see them all the time Kurt it’s still my favorite I cried when they played uneasy hearts all together though but like I said all depends if the band is together still or not but let’s just hope
Never say never. They were about to tour with Kurt before covid hit and Im sure they were going to play Shelf Life and probably other Kurt songs. Seeing Jonny sing for DGD is going to be more of a rarity considering their sorted history. But Jonny is going to When We Were Young and so is DGD. I want to go simply for the chance to see Jonny get in that stage even for 1 song

That is a lie cuz everyone in the comments here and in every other live DGD video most people say that Tillian has issues singing live for half his shows and Kurt has issues holding notes (his run was too short to tell). Jonny is usually the one praised for the most live consistency of the 3
this band here is so underrated, this band is very genuine and unique and damn is will one of the greatest creators of all time in my opinion. deserves more credit honestly.

In my opinion, Kurt is a very underated frontman. He may not have a crazy range, but some of the songs he sang are some of my favorites by DGD
It's very likely you know this, but if you haven't checked out A Lot like Birds you need to. It's Kurt's best work by far.

Not to parasocially analyse Kurt or anything, but it must have felt so good for him to get back on stage with DgD here and show just how far he had come as a live singer. after being let go post happiness. I still think Kurt deserves another album with dgd, but I'm happy he gets to jam with Will in Royal Coda.
