theres apps for conversions or you can google __ inches to centimeters and it'll do it for you.

I'm working on this tutorial right now and I have some advice. Don't use the chest -> side when making the v part of the shirt. Measure from the v area to actual shoulders. I had to remake my pattern. Square out the bottom pattern because I found it to be a dramatic curve that looked nothing like my body though I measured my body three times to get it right. Lastly be careful because it's very snug if you have a big butt!!!

Thanks for the video! I'm planning on trying to make this for Dragon Con😃 although I'm still a beginner at sewing. I just looked at Joanne's for the fabric, but I couldn't find any polyester/Lycra blend. Would polyester/spandex work just as well? I'm going to try a different fabric store, but just curious. You did an AWESOME job!

I measured myself three times and the legs were long and baggy. The butt was also bubbling. What did I do wrong? I had to do a lot of modification!!!

Umm the directions are a little unclear cause you were telling me to do a measurement that I didn't have a couple times so I typed what I thought was right and the outline didn't really work so I might just be saying this and look stupid for saying this but I really don't understand...

I'm a tad bit confused. Is all of the fabric spandex, or just the white?
I think the green and black is a polyester/lycra mix and the white is spandex
on average, how much time would you need to create a fully detailed (plus effort put into) cosplay? Peridot's wig is going to be a HUGE challenge for me as i am really young and i cant get a job, not until 1 year from now, so my allowance is very small atm. So practically i'm on the smallest budget in the world rn... and also my mum is only letting me start making the cosplay 3 months before the con so yeah, i need to somehow confine it into that time limit.. Please send help aaaaa

Personally I'm in the middle of making a cosplay for peridot right now for realmscon (in october) and it's not talking as long as I though it would, although I don't have access to a sewing machine it's all being handsewn :')

this is really nice but did you not,.... iron.....the interfacing......
not all interfacing needs ironing, some you MUST sew in between two layers of fabric to keep it in place, others can be ironed in meaning since the heat glues them to the fabric you wont have to encase them.
How long did it take for you to make the costume? Can it be done within 5 months right?
It could probably be done in a week if you have the dedication. If you are a busy person and could only work on it for small periods at a time, maybe a month - but it's fairly simple!! Just be careful with patterning as it can get confusing!! :)
