I was just listening to your reaction again and I was thinking about the battle rap scene and doing disses. It just occurred to me that there are increasing more artists that do rap/hip hop that are making it clear that they have no interest in doing that. I'm not sure if any mainstream artists have stopped because I stopped listening to mainstream years ago. However I know Ren also made his stance on that clear during his King Doota diss. I do enjoy the rap before however I get just as hyped for a very hard hitting generalized diss track going after everyone. Especially this particular song. I do love don't look down and this his house for the same reason. This song has just taken my #1 spot though. Honestly it would take a lot to remove this Tom song from that #1 spot.

To be fair, Tom has been intentionally trying to address how toxic and detrimental the genere has become and break it down for many years. So for him to model artists not tearing each other apart for a beef known what is does to people's lives. That simply goes back to his values that you can make it independent in this genre without having to feed into that. There is a different way. We know he is a big believer in what kinds of things are pumped into especially kids heads via music messaging. At one point he had equated it with eating McDonald's/your head fills with trash.
