Would be great to see a VST editor for Quantum & Iridium oneday.
would be a dream
Thanks for having me again :) really happy with the final outcome!
Your ending patch really does sound lovely. Cheers!
@@izzymonkey thank you :)
Love this. Love Iridium. I can't wait to try Sample Robot with my Deckard's Dream and get that timbre into Iridium! 😊
Sample Robot looks like a smart sampling software, which one day I will buy, but only after a convincing discount.
Indeed, a discounted version limited to iridum would be enough for me.
A version just for the Waldorfs would be really nice.
I love this and my Iridium! Thanks for sharing, this has been inspiring. I haven’t explored the sample engine yet I’ve been loving the Kernal engine! Have a wonderful day.
This is a game changer for me for the iridium
fabulous; I hope one day to achieve this magnificence
Well done!
Nice workflow!
Great job on the pad!
Wow. So great . I just got a quantum, and this vid helped a lot to understand the sample mapping. I’m going tho get that Sample Robot.
I love Sample Robot and I hope that vst3 will be supported soon.
🔥🔥
That is such a useful video, thank you. Would be fun to se a comparison video between the Wave and the Iridium. Imagine a Wave patchbank to 🙂
Waldorf team getting excited about something they should have released themselves lol.
Mind Blown. Love my Quantum Mk2 but thought sampling seemed painful. This makes it into a breeze
Thanks for this tutorial! Great. Could you explain how the Quantum uses memory for samples. Is there a limited RAM memory like in old time samplers or is it sample directly to flash memory with playback also directly from the flash memory? That would probably mean you can sample very long samples with no looping if required since the flash memory is so big. I’m comparing with samplers from the past like Akai S series and E-mu E4 that I have experience with.
Does sample robot Samples Roland Integra 7 rack module?
Now I just need an Iridium or Quantum : )
Oh wait, it also works with my blofeld
Iridium + Moog model D is easy it is the ideal complement 💕
Hehe same😊
How much for the lcd screen on the quantum I need a replacement
Very complementary feature indeed. Is there a way - directly or with SR - to import Kontakt sample files without going through a resampling process?
Question, so the MAP file, if you sample in 4ths or 6ths, then pitches those samples down automatically across the designated key range? Thus when importing, you don't need to set the range of each individual note sample, correct?
Correct :)
@@phable Awesome!
Can Sample Robot export velocity-layered instruments for the Iridium? And what about support for round robin samples?
Sample Robot Multi-X ($180) offers velocity selection and then you can choose to do it again for another velocity within the same project. Or you can buy the $270 pro version that will autosample velocities for you too. I have not used either, but I am seriously considering this as a big reason to get an Iridium
Im try but the iridium not found the map file
Pretty expensive. Not sure if it can do automatic round robin.
The background music is really distracting.
Did you say sampling is not creative???? Ok,so If I find sounds like car horns, voices, and water, totally create sounds you cannot get in your rompler, and that's not more creative? So using presets and just tweaking them is more creative? In what world? Herbert made a whole LP with found sounds being sampled,so by that 'logic' ,using some romplers is more creative..Yeah,ok..
