Another winner! I’m making a knit hat now and then I’ll see what yarn I have for this one.
Marly, I love both of these hats & they both look great on you!!❤❤❤
Thank you!!
Thank you Marly for sharing this adorable hat!!
You are so welcome!
Love it!!! Thank you so much for sharing. ❤
Ooooo girl love this stitch! I made a Japanese knot bag using this technique. And perfect name for the hat definitely celebrated colors 😊
That is awesome!
This is a great pattern. Thank you Marly! 😀
You’re welcome 😊
Perfect!!
I have 3 blankets to make for Christmas and I wanted to make some smaller items so I don’t burn out. These are ideal!
Yes! These are great!
Wonderful!
Thanks Bestie❤❤❤
You’re welcome
I ❤ this.
Love the hat and your tutorial!❤
Thank you!!
Can't wait to try this!
And on a positive note. I have been getting notifications when you've posted new videos!
That’s good. It’s such a hit and miss.
Great hat!
Thank you.
This is gorgeous 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻💙🦊
Thank you so much. I do love it. Are you going to make one.
@@MarlyBird Yes! Already been digging in the yarn pile for the perfect yarn for this one 😍😘
What a great hat and great, clear instructions! Is a soft worsted weight 4 a good yarn to use?
Absolutely
❤this hat!! Unfortunately, I crochet too tight 😢. I have tried so many times to get “loose”, but I ALWAYS end up tight😢. But I absolutely love this hat!!
Oh no! Do me a favor and watch my video and follow my steps to keep the crochet stitch the right size. Maybe that will work!
Or go up a hook size or two. ❤
@@andrealouis-visser4973was just going to suggest this! It’s what I do with my starting chain. I can never get the sizing right and my blankets look weird so I go up .5mm-1mm on my starting chain depending on yarn and then drop back down for the actual pattern- works great!!!
111@@andrealouis-visser4973😊
Thank you Marley for the pattern. The crochet hook that you used, is a regular hook with a slid on comfort grip or all in one and where did you get it?
I linked to it in the blog post :)
Beautiful!!! 🤍 Love the pattern. May I ask .. is there a tutorial for the actual stitch in a straight version and not in the round ?
No. Getting the split single crochet to work felt is very different. It’s typically done in the round.
The iron I chose is Malabrigo silky merino Dk. I think it’s a sightly finer closer to a three versus a four. I plan on using the overall circumference measurements for the rim of the hat my question since I will be making more than the number you have stated here should I be measuring those ridges in multiples of four?
Yup
Where can I find that yarn that’s in the Hank?!?
How many rows of this before joining
