if you haven't found a way already, you could just go into the game folders and add the mp3 of your choice. there's videos on youtube which is helpful. it's really easy

I actually really did love Cataclysm, I guess it all depends on the experience the player had whilst Cata. Some Dreaded it, some loved it. Either the music got to them, the new zones, meeting new friends, or loosing friends. Each player has her/his's own reason for their attachment to the expac. The one thing we do have in common is that we end up feeling nostalgic about it by the next expansion.

I do have that feeling too, but I love that feeling, and it's only nostalgia when you look back on it when there have been changes, and I like the changes so far, because the game would have got boring if it continued the way it was. I think with WoD they made a great expansion so far already.

VisualEntertainmentz My biggest problem is that the game isn't as fun as it used to be. The raids are boring and I have no strive to do anything in the game. I waste time sitting around and just getting achievements; that could be my fault but I can't stand raiding anymore. The older raids were so much more fun than they are now imo. PvP is still not entirely fixed, they always have problems balancing it out or making every class good enough. There's also much less content that each expansion provides. It's like 5 dungeons and 3 raids per expansion now compared to the 10s of dungeons and 5 or more raids.
The other thing that entirely kills it for me is leveling. After cataclysm a lot of zones (to me) got ruined and dull. The quests aren't nearly as fun and the places that got destroyed by deathwing also created a desire to go back to the older times, but can't. It's also not even a challenge to level anymore; if I really wanted to, I could easily get to lvl 50 or so in a day. The only challenging lvls are the last few till max level. The other thing is that the talents and skills were changed too much. The talents ruined a lot of the drive to level up more, I missed wanting to get to the next level to get the next point for a new skill or just to put another point in. Skills were also fun to go back and learn too.
Overall I would just say the drive to do anything in the game is completely ruined for me. I haven't played the game in over 3 months and the time I did spend in WoW was just sitting around in the major city or trying to force myself to level a character. A game needs some sort of difficulty for it to be entertaining and I feel like a lot of it is lost. I always try out the newer expansions hoping they fix some of it, but I just don't see myself playing it again for more than a few months tops.

This is my favorite rendition of the main theme of WoW. As going to college for music theory and composition soon I can see that this game truly has some of the best composed music I've ever heard, including this piece. While a lot of this game has some of the best orchestrated songs, some of the music I hear while playing honestly sounds like an Ice cream truck song.....

desdragona same for me because i had just joined late cataclysm and it was so awesome like not knowing anything and being a noob and not worrying about my item level or anything, just messing around as a level 25 running into horde bases lol
Jackie Sarsfield i also started in cataclysm, and for most of it i didn't even have a subscription, but when i did it was amazing.
i swear, i legitimately swear that it was the best time of my life, but also because i played with my boyfriend.
i was always alliance and i ran through alliance bases xD it was hilarious cos we'd be like WAIT NO DON'T GO THERE and we'd get zapped and usually die lmao

I seriously love this login screen, even though I wasn't around to experience it. At 1:30, I absolutely love how they tied the Cataclysm-y sound, minor chords and such, to the nostalgic theme. It's such a wonderful piece.
I really like this login theme mainly because I started in cata and brings in all of my lovely noobie memories.
I've played every expansion from Vanilla all the way to Dragon Flight. Honestly Cata's theme song is my favorite of them all as it is also a Tribute to my favorite music pieces in WotLK and the original vanilla theme song on the login-screen

@@SuperLuigiFan22 BfA rng systems and experimental game modes flopped, but overall was a big expansion with plenty of content, great music, atmosphere and cinematics. Even the story still made sense even if it was getting shittified. I had more fun in BfA than in SL by far.
Best Login Screen Music Ever.
You know what? Cataclysm was pretty cool. Right now I feel at peace with all of the expansions. I love it. All of them have something to bring to the table. It's nice. Just...don't remove things anymore, Blizzard. That's all I want. WoD is doing it right: allowing you to return to the old Outland. Now, they did it more for the professions system, but it's good for nostalgia too. BC was fantastic, and losing that would be even worse than missing out on Vanilla, like what happened to me. All in all, though, I'd never say that any one expansion was ever BAD, per se.
me too!! i will never ever stop playing wow, their no other mmo game in the world like it many games have try to dethrone wow but all have fail and was bought to their Knees and humble thenself to wow only wow could kill wow(blizzard) and know they say wow could be on for another 20 years if blizzard dont fuck it up, the only thing im upset the latest expansion they not give up much of a upgrade to our charactor we should have the same graphic on our toon as they did to the new game of blizzard OVERWATCH!! now you know why we got crappy upgrade and crappy animition have you seen out nightelve how he runs lately? doesnt it remines you of the panda gay run?

I started playing WoW during cata when I was 11 and now that i am 17 and still playing to this day, i feel nostalgic towards this soundtrack. Its lovely and reminds me of times when i was little, running off the bus to get on my computer and log in on my DK lol. Good times. By far my favorite expansion, but Legion is coming close

I started in Wrath and always loved the Wrath intro, the ice and Sindragosa greeting you when you start up the game.
Then Cata happened, and the sight of fire, Deathwing on Stormwind and the intro being all "disaster! terror! the world is getting destroyed! doomsday is here!" was such an epic, brutal slap, in a good way.
It really felt like the chill WoW I was introduced was in danger, but it was just really cool. I loved Cata. I loved all the new quests, I loved that they, I think, made unique music for every old zone in Kalimdor and Eastern Kingdoms, instead of several having the same, like Feralas and Stranglethorn, or Elwynn and Hillsbrad, I think. And I loved the ability to fly anywhere, it made me want to explore more places. Except I was kinda scared of Deathwing popping up while I was flying.
Cata was cool. I miss WoW. I've just been too busy with school and art.

Cata was a necessary step in the game because they needed to redo every zones in Eastern Kingdom and Kalimdor. Now, i can ride my cenarion hippogryph 5 feet above the ground, at 310% speed, and do surprise attacks on leveling or mats farming allies punks. Also, FL and BWD were nice raids...
Wait 2 months for MoP. It's going to be a really good expansion I think. :)
Ah...the memories...Cataclysm was a great Xpac the last of its kind in my book. Everyone playing from Vanilla or Tbc felt the change after this. Good warcraft or if you prefer WoW as we knew it drifted away with this one and vanished forever... 6:38
I loved the Cata soundtrack. I especially loved the music in Halls of Origination/Lost City of the Tol'vir. I just hope they restore Orgrimmar to what it once was. It's so terrible to look at now.

2 BIG things i miss from this xpack that MoP took away from us was the fun as hell to create talent trees and the secondary weapon like warriors got bows and dk's got relics, great times
They do that because they are pretty much summing all the expansions up to one big and long expansion song, which was great

I remember watching my brother play wow for the first time ever. We had had 7 day free trial keys since around vanilla, but we never thought it was "cool". That is until I saw my brother blasting the razor fens out of Mulgore. That's when I started playing, and I've loved WoW ever since.
Let WoW go, and remember all the fun times you had in Azeroth, Outland and Dreanor. Unfortunately, the game is gone beyond repair at this point. I remember, at this point, I was in major denial that the game was starting its first downhill trajectory. After being spoiled with TBC and Wrath, I couldn't conceive that an expansion I didn't enjoy would come out. Unfortunately, I was a 10m raider when it dropped, and you know how that turned out. The dungeons were sick, tbh. Fun and challenging, but Azeroth revamp (which I actually wanted along with Heroic Deadmines during Wrath before they even announced Cata, which is crazy thinking back on it), didn't do it for me, and I couldn't get on board with the new max lvl zones being scattered everywhere. Unfortunately, I skipped the one solid patch, Firelands. Oh well, I'll go back and play a PS one of these days.
I been playing WC since WC3 in 2003. I started playing WoW during TBC. It was so cool back then, the idea of fighting Kel Thuzad. I saw a CZcams video of the fight and I thought "Damn, if that one unit from WC3 is a powerful boss, then this game's gonna be amazing, being some random nobody who goes out and saves Azeroth" that was the whole point I loved being the nobody character who built myself from rags to riches. Here's my order of gameplay for the expansions:
1. TBC
2. Wrath
3. Vanilla
4. Legion
5. MoP
6. Cata
7. WoD
Everything after this doesn't register to me and I just don't care to rate past this point!!
