Great show. When laid out like this, Adams really looks like an effective GM. A ton of credit to him, Granato, and Okposo for weathering 21-22.

For me the most underrated part of GMKA was that he managed to get Terry Pegula on board with a patient approach. He bought four years of no playoffs. I’m not saying it wasn’t deserved or even necessary, but it’s still difficult

Great video guys! I think Adams is highly misunderstood by our fans. I’m working on my own video for my channel but it will be a few weeks. I disagree with what was said about him regarding last offseason. Our fans don’t like to hear this but he was still testing what would work. In other words he deliberately did “nothing” and was sticking to his plan of not overpaying free agents.
We still need to be patient. This is a long term plan that if done right will last 10+ years. We’re committing to a young team for a reason and it could have massive payoff. I don’t blame Adams for the team not making the playoffs. We had a great roster that just didn’t perform. In 2022-23 we got away with scoring all those goals on the rush, but suffered defensively and teams adjusted and figured us out. Lindy said it best: we need to find new ways to score as well as improve defense. This season was an important and necessary year of learning. We won’t win in the playoffs playing pond hockey!

Trade idea with Philly = Henry Jokiharju for Morgan Frost. Flyers get a D man they need and the Sabres get a third line centre they desperately need. Also Adams gets to keep the 11th pick in the draft and could take a right shot D man like Yakemchuk from Calgary of the WHL. Krebs gets resigned and becomes the the 4th line centre with Greenway and a new winger with grit and abrasiveness like UFA Dakota Joshua Van or Ryan Lomberg FLA.
IMO Adams has done a decent job over the last 4 yrs. Loved the Ristro( robbery) Reinhart and Ugly Eichel trades . Komorov the D man from the QHL was a great pick as he will become a decent NHL D man. Worst move was the Taylor Hall signing. This summer is a HUGE with at least 3 open forward spots with Girgenson, Olofsson, Jost and possibly Eric Robinson having played their last games in a Sabres uniform. Question is does Adams fill those spots with prospects or veterans aquired in free agency or trades? Adams did say in his season ending presser that he is looking to bring in a veteran centre and some abrasiveness for the bottom 6 forward group. Lets hope he sticks to his word. Thanks for the video gentlemen

Eichel was a cancer im glad hes gone. Losing Reinhart was the only guy i really miss, guy shows up every game and was relilable.
