I couldn't visit Dublin without doing a bit of spotting at the airport! Especially morning spotting...To begin with I visited the Runway 10 mound as the weather had forecasted easterly winds, however when I got there 28 was still in use, so I spent about an hour or so there before making a long walk to the 28 spotting mound, of which I stayed at until luncthtime.
It started off being a cloudy morning, and as the day went on it got brighter and brighter to the point the sun came out! Fortunately no rain, so it was a pleasant day weather wise, and to be honest quite warm as well. Certainly an interesting day here at Dublin, and I shall definitely be visiting again in the future to do a full morning session at the 28 mound!
Quite a lot of movements crammed into this 90 minute long video, a lot of good stuff too! The video includes an Ethiopian 787 and 777-300(ER), DHL and FedEx A300's, American 757, A330 and 767, Delta 767-400, 757 in Skyteam livery and A330-300, United 777-200 and 757's, Air Canada Rouge 767's, Aer Lingus A330's, SAS A320 NEO, Cityjet RJ85's and SU95, WOW Air A321, British Airways A319, A320, E190 and E170, Flybe E195 and Q400, Etihad A330-200, Swiss A321, Ryanair 737's, Aer Lingus A320's and A321's and much more!

Addis Ababa aiport is over 7000 feet above sea level. The planes can not take enough gas for US trips. All US and Canada Ethiopian flight except LAX land at Dublin to refuel only. LAX flight actually can load and drop off passengers both ways. Other Ethiopian flights from US and Canada go straight to Addis Ababa.

I've always liked the 757's look, long elegant body and fairly raised off the ground - people compare the A321 to it BUT im for the 757 slightly ( will be sad when they start getting phased out , if that already hasnt started !!!! )
