The Lenovo Tab P11 Gen 2 is a 11.5-inch mid-range Android tablet that directly competes with the Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite 2022 and Galaxy Tab S7 FE. It features a full HD screen, a decent MediaTek processor, up to 6GB of RAM and up to 128GB of storage. Out of the box, it's running Android 12L.
In this video, I unbox the Lenovo Tab P11 Gen 2 and use it with the Lenovo Precision Pen 2 which is an active stylus. You can also get it with an official keyboard cover but that one I can test for my final review since it did not arrive yet.

In March I bought P11 Plus, and I should say the text on the Tab P11 looked kinda blurry to me. I got used to 224 ppi from my previous tablet, P11 has 212 ppi, and it was surprisingly noticeable. P11 2nd Gen is even bigger with the same res, so it's even blurrier (203 ppi). If you care about sharper text, and unless you're gonna hold your tab from at least moderate distance, think twice about buying this tab. So I sold it and bought Galaxy Tab S8. Very happy.
For me it looks sharp. I returned the lenovo p11 pro oled because of this problem, the display was pentile so it didn't look sharp.
this lcd display looks much better to me, it also has a better display than the old p11 plus

@@MrYamaha413 honestly it was my only option since I needed a jump in pixel density, or at least a parity with my old tablet. I considered buying S6 lite, but it has basically the same size as my previous tablet which started to look rather small to me. So I needed a 10.5-11'' tab with a sim-card slot and rather high pixel denstiy. And yes, Tab S8 is better in virtually every regard.
it looks blurry to me too.. and it is not because of low resolution.. Also there is a small issue with display layer is a bit too low so there is plenty of space between surface and display layer.. But i will get used soon..
Ive seen a few reviews of this tablet and I was wondering why some of them have the half screen pulldown menu whilst some have a fullscreen pulldown menu? Is it something you just change in settings or is it a different version of android
Lenovo should be ashamed of false advertising for the P11 2nd generation advertising it can be used for note taking woth a pen, it is not compatible with ANY PEN!!

Mine came bundled with precision pen 2 and keyboard. My pen stopped working but they replaced immediately under warranty. While waiting, I used a regular little disk type stylus which worked no problem.

Yeah me too but Lenovo does not provide Android & security update regularly so Samsung is better it's my opinion but it's cost

I'm so confused because I cannot seem to find this in the United States bundled with the pen... From Best Buy or Amazon it seems like it doesn't come with one... Does ordering it directly from Lenovo have it include one?
Try going to the store. I found my bundled at best buy in Canada. Wasn't easily found on website.
How hot does the tablet get under load? and where does it get hot?
Next time please also show how Lighroom works on the tablet (you had the app installed). This would be very interesting if I could use such an affordable tablet for Lighroom editing.
It's fine for Lightroom editing if your photos are JPGs or RAW with 24 megapixels but exporting photos will take a bit longer than on others.

It is perfect companion for superdisplay! I am amazed.. No lag, pressure sensitive, buttons are working well.. I recommend it
People have grate expectations and if you fail to deliver and meet those expectations alternative options are ready at an affordable cost

NEC version (Lavie Tab T11) has the best one too bad it’s Japanese only. It have 256GB and 8GB and battery is 15 hours which is higher than any iPad not just that SD card slot and headphone jack is a plus too. Included pen is a big plus as well

yes it has a dark theme mod, i bought one yesterday and i installed the amazon kindle, it is great tab for video, reading, songs, and even taking notes, but not for gaming.

The S6 Lite is better if you need a pen. Otherwise the Lenovo.
Idk the Lenovo p11 gen 2 is kinda laggy and there are many things that don't work properly like automaticupdate for example.
can u compare to lenovo p11 plus 2021 please? i can see better screen 120 hz compare to 60 hz and android 12L compare to 12 but nothing more than that 🧐 CPU & GPU has similar benchmarks even MT G99 vs G90T is much newer

How does this compare to the P11 pro and P11 pro gen 2 please? I believe this tablet is bigger which appeals more than the pro. Dont know how to pick though.
It's not much bigger. Everything about the P11 pro gen 2 is better.

This appears to be the P11 Pro, Not the P11 Pro G2 or at least not the most currently configuration sold from Lenovo. My P11 Pro G2 which I just purchased from Lenovo for 243.00 USD has no headphone jack and there's a charge magnet on the back that can be clearly seen.
This is the Tab P11 Gen 2. Not the Tab P11 Pro Gen 2.
The box is right there they do look the same however
Damn if only the pen attached this would be the perfect budget tablet.
The pro Gen 2 has OLED screen which I refuse to buy they all burn in within 2 years.
I wish Lenovo invested more in their software than just keep releasing new devices. One android update and the tablet starts to lag behind. Then they release a upgraded model and do the same non-sense.nexr time I getting a Samsung or an iPad.
Precision Pen 3 (2023) didn't work on my p11 pro gen2
It's not compatible, you need the precision pen 2
The precision pen 3 does work with the P11 pro gen 2. Mine came with one and I have 3 P12's and the precision pen 3 that came with them all work on my P11 pro.

If you get the LTE version, yes, otherwise no
No HDMI over USB. Another fail at this price point.
