This video of AI and Annie is beautiful she's so gentle with her little bundle and seeing Annie with her play face is so touching, I love these videos and can't get enough of watching them do their little pirouettes x

Although people say Ai never accepted Annie as her daughter they look pretty close to each other.

I have read a lot of comments on Shabani's family videos and they complain that Ai isn't loving and caring for Annie. But I disagree because in this video she is an awesome Mom.

I thought Ai was the older sister of Annie and Kiyomasa. I know Ai and Kiyomasa are very close to each other and Nene is the mother of them all..am I right or wrong? I’m confused 🤷♀️
Michele Rapoza, Al is Annie's mom. Annie's mom is Al and Shabani is Annie's dad.
Nene has two kids, Al ( with a different dad, don't remember his name ) and Kiyomasa (Shabani is the dad of him)
Al did not care for Annie (rejected her at birth), so the staff at Zoo cared for her ( hand reared ) but they let Annie see the Troop and they saw her as she grew behind the enclosure bars. Then when she got older, she was reintroduced back into the Troop. But, I don't think Al ever saw or recognized Annie as her daughter and was always closer to Kiyomasa. Also, Nene never recognized Annie as her granddaughter, Nene always treated Annie as a threat to Kiyomasa and was never warm and accepting to her. Very distant and really doesn't like to be bothered by Annie. Shabani is very protective, affectionate and kind to Annie. He wont let anyone mess with her and also grooms her
(mothers usually do this to babies, but Shabani did it knowing she had no one to give Annie those important behaviors mothers do) Shabani is a wonderful dad and despite Annies hard beginning, she is a sweetheart who is spirited, strong and a kind little Gorilla-Girl.
