  • Prince Rama Varma's extraordinary voice, analytical skills, communication skills, passion for the subject, profound insight into the subject, admiration for the composer....you name it! Everything comes into play with delightful results in this sublime analysis of the brilliant Tillana in Raga Brindavani by Dr.Mangalampalli Balamuralikrishna, which is rendered wrongly by a surprisingly large number of people.

I believed, this was the simplest tillana which Balamurali sir has made. After listening to your mind blowing scientific kind of analysis, one will realise how much thought process has gone into it, right from the usage of syllables to the sahityam. Beautful tillana which is explained in even more beautiful way.

Prince gently warns us (1:00) not to take lightly what is 'simple'. In fact it takes a lot of depth and dedication and generosity to precisely demonstrate (and correct) the seemingly not-so-significant mistakes. His hold on the nuances of this composition is amazing. 🙏
A small request, can Varmaji please demonstrate the difference between Brindaavani and Brindaavanasaaranga with the help of a couple of compositions?

Sir, Thanks a million for all the great work you are doing.. so much energy you have in explaining things in detail.. Just one small note sir..
DARI in Telugu means 'nearness'. It can also mean a place of safety or refuge. It does not explicitly mean door.
Thanks again for all the great work sir..
