I think what jason is saying is that he prefers a deep, genuine connection but is constantly wondering if this is/could become, the real thing hes searching for. & its probably due to the fact that he hasn't experienced it many times in his life. its almost like if you have a hard time accepting love bc u dont even know if it is real love ur getting.

Everyone disappearing kind of confirmed what I thought. That I've always been an outcast with a day pass with the cool kids. I really relate with Jason in this episode.

It feels like a long time since I’ve watched JK consistently. I go through phases where I decide to click on their video and I get hooked all over again.
I think part of it is how the group has spent so much time together on camera and with their off camera group chat, etc. that they have a lot of inside jokes that it takes a bit for others, like Jason and some JK followers that aren't regular watchers to understand and catch up on.
