I just realized he killed two people when he opened the doors.
Xavier's lines are gold
My favorites are still "yowzer, this towns gone bowzer" and "it looks like the canvas has painted the artist"
"Then that union busting tub of tard is gonna find a Buddha-p his ass."
I love how everything he says is the complete opposite of what it means and yet it still gets the point across clearly
"This people see us as monkeys! Well, i say we throw our fesses at them until they see us as men!!" 😂😂😂
"where i come from, sharing love without making a profit is called being a 'whore''! and the working conditions here are 'whore-ifying'!"
To soothe their yellow souls
And their yellow face
Of their yellow oppressors
1:32 i swear this show has the best wordplay jokes ever
god i just realized how awesome “recent science has discovered that for thousands of years…” is as an opener
The fact that Bill Hader narrated the commercial makes this even better
I knew he sounded familiar cuz I thought to myself “Wait a minute, wasn’t he on Pacemaker in GTA IV?”
COME TO JAMAICA!
Meatwad's cameo makes me wonder if this XRA and ATHF are part of the same universe. Given how absurd and fantastical both shows are (as well as how there's never any continuity or permanent change at the end of each episode), I wouldn't be surprised if Xavier's adventures in the south-west and the aqua teens' antics in New Jersey are happening in different region of the same bizarre world. Now I'm disappointed Xavier never made a cameo on ATHF while his show was on (it would have been perfect if he was still a low-poly 3D model juxtaposed against 2D sprites).
It's not meatwad, it's a Rastafarian lobster from Wonder Showzen. More related to towlie from South park than athf
0:57 No one realized that he's wordplaying violence into a new scene lmao
"They're being played like a fiddle! I'll stop that racket with my violin-" *chanting*
"with my violin" + "zzzz sound" = "I'll stop that racket with my violinzzz"… "with my VIOLENCE"
i love how he's talking to the monk he thinks is the boss about unionizing against the boss to a group with no boss. i know that's the joke i love the joke though
"Don't spend it all in one place"
"Don't bend it all in some space"
"Don't spit in Oliver's face"
"Bones lend Italians your waist"
"Telephone games are a disgrace"
"Chicken bopped goonwaped mace"
"Don't spend it all in one place"
The beginning feels exactly like a Aperture Science commercial
Broke: Material desires is poisonous.
Woke: Buddha is a bourgeois union buster.
Buddha was a privledged prince who grew up in luxury and preached to the poor that they should accept their poverty through detachment
Not only was Buddha a rich aristocrat, but in the East Buddhism is often used to argue for exactly this, and it's a part of why the Chinese government is able to be so oppressive. It's common to think of Buddhists as peaceful, wise sages here in the West, but the Buddhist monasteries have a lot of the same corruption we see in institutions like the Catholic Church. So, yeah, this is a little too real.
"Hey, why aren't you chanting?" This was basically the pun they built up to
i was just thinking "man, this sure does sound a lot like XRA"
what a pleasant surprise
the joke per minute count is off the charts. Miss this dearly
You hear that silence?! Can you take it?! The crushing blow of that fiery silence as it explodes in your ear with silence!!’
*CAN YOU TAKE IT?*
*THE CRUSHING BLOW OF THAT FIREY SILENCE AS IT EXPLODES IN YOUR EAR WITH SILENCE?!*
The Bhudda-pizzass line is probably my favorite in the entire show
Well yeah it is. That's just how I spelt it. I mean I put two S's in there, I'm clearly not mistaking it for pizza. Johnny's spelling is the more obvious and intelligible one I'll agree to that
Mine is the one from the self-discussion one;
"If you like soup so much, why don't you marry soup?"
"Cause I'm already married to justice."
"Only a blind girl would date you."
"Shut this place down until you give yourself the demands you desire"
GENIUS
This is funny until you realize Goop has now trapped sound into stickers. The future is now old man.
@@Atamosk-bu7zt I know its a joke I just hate Goop and don't want them getting any credit for doing anything cool.
This entire sketch was written when somebody said out loud out of nowhere "Transcendental Medication"
"Where I come from sharing love without profit is called a whore and this is horrifying. "
HIS LEGS ARE CRIMES AGAINST REALITY!
Xavier himself is a violence against reality, logic, common sense, spiritual self-perception and good taste. That's why there is so much adoration for the show.
This entire show feels like an attempt to induce as many panic attacks as possible
"Whorifying" LMFAO
"They're treating you monks like monkeys, well i say lets hurl our feces at them until they see us as men."
Couldn't be more relevant than ever. LMAO
literally twitter virtue signalling. being a closet racist under the guise of being anti-racist.
@@disconuts315 XRA is a criticism of new age mysticism and pseudo-intellectual people that dont understand the shit they talk about. I'll focus on the latter.
Xavier's personality is narcissistic and whenever he helps anyone, he always screws it up because he doesnt understand the people hes helping and the ideologies they have. He deludes himself into thinking that he truly helped the people that he interacted with even tho he just left them with an even worse life than before.
You can use that quote from OP's comment and that character trait of Xavier as a metaphor for virtue signallers. (anything in this show can be used as metaphors really, this quote just seemed more fitting for virtue signallers). That quote sounds like something a sjw would say but simplified.
And i have experienced this for myself. Im asian and theres tons of times that sjw people assumed im chinese by my appearance and treat me as if im a beginner at english (theres a guy that kowtowd on me and i really dont know if he was being racist or just genuinely didnt know). They end up harming my public image by "helping" me, giving me unfair odds as if im physically disabled and being too careful with their words like some sorta idiot. And they pretend that they respect me to get brownie points from their other white friends. They have this tone of "guys i helped this minority! im a good person now" when talking with others but when you're alone with them their true colors show. This is the same people that tell others about how racism is bad and shit.
Unironically being a closet racist under the guise of being an anti racist.
They are exactly what Xavier is: people with obvious biases that dont understand the shit they talk about and unintentionally harm others by "helping" them.
This show is way smarter than you'd think.
"No justice! No chants! No justice! No chants!"
"Why aren't you chanting?"
I didn't catch this joke the first time I watched it lol

LMAO
Lmfao, "you've got to unionize, to strike"
This is correct and also hilarious, because you're unionizing just to immediately refuse to work. The joke wouldn't even work if the words were swapped.
this was an interesting a traumatizing show to watch as a child

you could watch an entire episode of this show with full context and backstory and still ask what the fuck is going on
Damn the he used that "Rat" to describe "Rot" as well.

Bill Hader's voice is so soothing.
Is that Bill Hader ? Jesus Christ this show could be weaponised
I legit thought this was an real advertisement until Xavier started existing on this video
1:46 InflAHtable union rAHt
Fun fact: The monk is voiced by Bill Hader, which makes me like him even more.
XRA commercials are probably the most surreal part of the show
It is crazy to me that Bill Hader was a part of this lmao it's no wonder why he's so funny
in which xavier tries to unionize workers in a worker coop
Well, the algorithm reunited us again
The rat understood well :)
Upon re-watching both seasons, I've noticed this show isn't just absurdist nonsense. It's extremely detailed and pointed when it comes to satire. This particular scene is about the commercialization of spirituality by (and for) westerners, especially when it comes to "eastern"/dharmic religions. It's a sign of how under neoliberal capitalism, something that's supposed to be personal and intimate (IE, your relationship with God or whatever higher powers govern the universe) can be transmogrified into another way to sell a product. Capitalism incentivizes profitability over innovation in all situations, so nothing is safe from being exploited and privatized.
Crony capitalism isn't free market capitalism, you can't make a generalization like that. I agree with the neoliberal stuff though.
This is what social "sciences" does to a mf. Bro, capitalism incentivizes innovation THROUGH the pursuit of profitability. It's even shown in this same episode when the monks decide to automate the process with machinery
He's trying to unionize a co-op.
Dudes such a chad he can blow into a mouse while ranting
Why is no-one talking about the ad voice-over guy being Bill Hader?!
He casually killed those two by the door
"where i come from sharing love without making a profit is being a hore" Xavier are speaking facts
"my enlighten violin"

Can someone explain the context of the 'come to jamaica' part?
