I also have the same cutter it worked perfectly for me when I had a large order of meat pies. What you need to do is to cut the carrots in smaller sizes & the cutter does the slices...

I have the same cutter. It works perfect all you have to do is avoid putting huge chunks of veggies. That carrot goes through if you first slice it into 3 or 4 piece. I struggled with it at first but now its a time saver.

Ur machine is good but you are using it in wrong way u need to put the vegetables in opposite direction
