One of the oldest names in the world
‘Jaltarang’, it’s an ancient percussion instrument , which has its origin in china. Dating back to a thousand years in history this instrument was a gift from China to India , which we Indians perfectly fit into our Indian classical music .
It merged both percussion and melody together to form a unique and soothing sound.
Jal-tarang’ comes from ‘Jal’ meaning water, and ‘tarang’ that connotes to the “waves in water”. Jal-tarang is an ancient Indian wave instrument which continues to play till today. Ceramic or porcelain bowls are tuned with right about of water to match the swaras and is then played by striking the bowl with wooden sticks .
It’s a perfect amalgamation of Arts and Science.
जगातील सर्वात जुन्या नावांपैकी एक
'जलतरंग', हे एक प्राचीन तालवाद्य आहे, ज्याचे मूळ चीनमध्ये आहे. एक हजार वर्षांच्या इतिहासातील हे वाद्य चीनने भारताला दिलेली भेट होती, जी आम्ही भारतीयांनी आमच्या भारतीय शास्त्रीय संगीतात पूर्णपणे बसवलेली आहे.
ते एक अद्वितीय आणि सुखदायक आवाज तयार करण्यासाठी पर्क्यूशन आणि मेलडी दोन्ही एकत्र विलीन केले.
जल-तरंग हा ‘जल’ म्हणजे पाणी आणि ‘तरंग’ या शब्दाचा अर्थ ‘पाण्यातल्या लाटा’ या शब्दापासून आला आहे. जल-तरंग हे प्राचीन भारतीय तरंग वाद्य आहे जे आजतागायत वाजत आहे. सिरॅमिक किंवा पोर्सिलेनच्या वाट्या स्वरांशी जुळण्यासाठी पाण्याच्या उजवीकडे ट्यून केल्या जातात आणि नंतर लाकडी काड्यांसह वाडग्यावर प्रहार करून वाजवल्या जातात.
हे कला आणि विज्ञान यांचे परिपूर्ण मिश्रण आहे.
