Honestly the biggest game changer for me were as follows.
- enable virtual gunstock A
- regularly click the map thingy on your chest to see icons and locate near by special item boxes.
- purchase a second life asap
- the best and easiest all around rifle to use is the RC416 (M16)
- best Sub is Evo (Scorpion)
- find weapon kiosk and purchase vertical grip attachments, they eliminate vertical recoil.
Just wanted to thank ya. Level 13 and I was doing kinda good but no growth and I kept getting killed. The tips on the movement I’ve never even thought about. I barley move while killing. Thank you for such a in depth video

I also wanted to quickly add a few tips! Attachments are a major game changer. they provide additional stats that help aim, recoil, and visuals in scopes. another possibly useful tip is adjusting controls like using virtual gun stock (type A) and adjusting physical gun stock (even without owning one) are great settings that drastically improved my gameplay.
VR-Rock isn’t quest 3 only. If you let them know what you have, they’ll hook you up with some lenses, for those that might be wondering.

One thing that drastically improved my aim for long range is the virtual gun stock and a fine tuned gun smoothing. Just saying, these two basically completely replace the need for a physical gun stock. Other than that the key improvement for me was to move more, as you said. Don't stay in a spot. Shoot, then move to a different angle, don't wait for the enemy to spot you. Lastly attachments, super useful, definitely a big deal other than armor and insurance for me personally is a laser sight, and a dot scope and a grip and suppressor on your rifle. With that you don't even need a sniper or smg, you have an AIO.
picked up this game and hopped in to try it out just to find out both of my joysticks have severe stick drift lol. Gonna have to take em apart and clean em before i can try any of this stuff.
13:19 I've got thousands of hr's in VR and I'm quite good at the original contractors. It took me struggling until level 12 before I overcame the learning curve for this game.

6:34 Wrong, fall in the main circule today its a invitation for teams who only look to kill players and full teams, in all my hours with unexperience kids how fall on Industrial or near they die in less than 3 minutes. Today's best option its about the edges of blue circule, as far as Industries. Consider first circule its very much unharm. its just found the ziplines and move around areas. So got all your stuff and BUY INSURANCE. 9:58 second big mistake, its not about "find your favorite gun" its about be good enought to down a motion dummie with a single mag with EVERY GUN AVAILABLE, yes that request to take your time offline and test each gun with (but must important) WITHOUT attachments. Because you dont know if the favorite gun its gonna be in the area you fall, and most important the "best and favorite gun" its useless, if you only found 1 mag. 19:17 totally agree, as much hours of gameplay and as much people you meet /add the better.

You can switch to Left hand in the settings. I couldn’t find it at first. I’d actually like the rifle on the left and pistol on the right but can’t seem to be able to do that..
Also, the orange circles dont indicate loot. They tell you where the bots spawn.
👆 this is correct...the bigger the red circle the more aggressive bots!

Good guide but tbh ik most guides never mention it but the real place to start for a beginner is learning all the mechanics. You have to start in the gun range and practice with every class of gun. Learn the reload mechanics. Know how to charge every gun. Practice putting on and taking off attachments. Use your TAC at vending machines. Practice looting and using your backpack. Only then should you start practicing movement. Learn how to navigate buy stations. Not a single guide on CZcams will help you without having the muscle memory and knowledge to actually utilize the tips. Ik how obvious this sounds but i guarantee the majority of new players never do this because lets be real it's boring. But it really is the only way to improve.
Maybe if you are a complete beginner to gaming in general. Most of that can be figured out as you play. Practicing movement and shooting in lobby is absolutely crucial though.
That's the mistake, figuring it out as you go. Don't matter if your a beginner to gaming or not, if you have 20 years doing something not the right way it don't matter. If you want to get better there no way around doing the boring stuff and getting the muscle memory and mechanics down cold.
How to get good at showdown:
Step 1. Grab a shotgun
Step 2. Congratulations, you just won the game
Not anymore. They got big nerfs twice in a row. SMGs are better now.
@matKilla9801 I'd disagree. Both shotguns are still op. Especially the origin and yes the damage nerfs are a big win, but the fact there is no fire rate cap on it still outguns smgs and ars. The devs have said they are currently working on the fire rate cap on not only the origin but all semi autos. Until then, its still outgunning everything.
@@TrickyIsSpecial Have you even tried using the SMGs like the EVO? The time to kill is way faster on the SMGs now, especially if you land some headshots. And their effective range is way farther than you would think. I am mostly running either SMG + Sniper or AR + Sniper these days, only picking up the Origin if I have nothing else yet. The double barrel can be OP if you get good at it, but its more high risk high reward.
@matKilla9801 I have. On my live streams over on tiktok ive demonstrated many times that the origin is still very broken because of 1 simple factor and thats no fire rate cap. You can shoot so fast with a good trigger fonger even to the point it seems like shells overlap in shots and with little effort of aiming. Even from 25 meters away. The smgs are pretty good, but all it takes is someone with a fast trigger finger holding an origin.
You didn't even mention the biggest reason for jumping or sliding around corners. It let's you aim down sights without slowing you down. Normal ADS applies a slowdown effect that doesn't apply while jumping or sliding. After checking the angle, the gun can be lowered and transition back to running without breaking pace.
is this pc vr version or standalone ?
You don’t need a pc. You just buy it and play on the VR.
No tips help help when hackers are shooting through cover with 100% accuracy. Even when I get to the top 5 squads my game locks up and all I can do is move my hands and walk. Happens every time.
I have yet to run into cheaters. but an anti cheat was recently implemented. as far as the game locking up and stuff, that is either a quest issue on this game or it’s whatever hardware, or software, you are using. this game runs perfectly fine for me on SteamVR and I’ve had no issues.
Been playing since Open Beta. Havent met a hacker yet and I play in all 3 servers.
